I argue with insurance companies all day. My boss calls me the "A/R Queen" because my success rate is so high. I have found that people respond to self-assurance and civility. I believe that one should remain nice but adamant, until that is not effective, then you bring out the iron will.

These ppl are drug dealers and such. They are on bond, the majority of them know nothing of civility and usually do not respond to it at all. LOL

Yes that is also a plus. The easiest arrest I ever made in my life was a guy from Indiana. He beat up 2 of the guys, I pulled my gun and said " Im bout to put a bullet in your ass" . He said just put the gun away and keep talking lil momma. It was pretty funny!
