Hey howdy Pink,

LOVE, LOVE LOVIN Tennessee, Neva going back to Florida. The farm is coming along nicely. We bought 47 acres in Middle Northern TN, we have Romanov sheep that just lambed this week. We have 6 lambs 3 ewes and a ram. We got the most awesome donkey to guard them/Jack, and a steer. We are waiting till Spring for the chickens, we want to concentrate on guinea fowl to cut the tick population.

Been to our first TN fairs this year, loving the tractor pull, mule pull and bluegrass music. Eating a lot of fantastic barbecued ribs and drinking are weight in sweet tea to stay cool this summer, cannot wait for our first TN fall.

:cheer::cheer::cheer:

TY TNFEMME I am so naiive, heck I work in Nashvegas night shift I should known this. I was late for work tonight battling the traffic for Titan's game and Brooks and Dunn concert there goes my attempt at not being tardy this month and it is only the 2nd day of September:vigil:

I'm a Music City native, spent 18 years there (many of which were spent chasing long-haired femmes-hehehe), I still have family there and throughout the Volunteer State. An orange Power T is even proudly displayed on my rides! I make it back at least several times a year - love to visit (and eat at the Waffle House!), but simply can't imagine living amongst the Bible belt-conservatives after experiencing other much more progressive areas of the country the last 18+ years! How do ya'll do it?? Seriously, how? What kind of community do you have? How easy has it been for you to extend your circle of friends? Lastly, any kind of regular local meet-ups? I may be rolling in soon....

Hey there! I have lived in Nashville for a lot of my life and never had a problem with community. We have lot's of friends and a huge support network, but most of us just know each other and do not have planned events as in regular meet ups. We do plan parties from time to time and see at least some of our friends at least weekly. Some of us have lunch, some of us dinner, some go to the BDSM club, some of us meet at each others homes for a movie. We love Nashville

We could definitely plan something if we have out of town visitors who think we are unprogressive! :)
