Vibing....set up my tent(it's been awhile)..it hasn't done well :sunglass:..so think i might need a new one if i'm serious about a camp..maybe lighter and tighter..

Survival food in the Woods..you can also use a stream and soak acorns for a couple of days and that will slowly get rid of tanins, the hot method or boiling is the faster method

this would be great in a bug out bag!

Foraging..so interesting..the only thing i know a little about is mushrooms..so this was very interesting...i want to find ramp onions but they may not grow here..it might be just an east coast thing...i'm going to study to see if there is something similar..no doubt there is because nature often gives you numerous similar resources...she's so clever! p.s. found out mostly an eastern kind of wild onion but perhaps an Egyptian onion, i recently heard about might be a good alternative??

Alaska, ideal for bushcraft winter camp, no snakes, not much activity, bears asleep(usually)..have never tried this kind of camping, would be fun if i was 20 but even if you know what you are doing, it's not something you would probably do unless in an emergency situation..things go wrong in the bush, experts can & do die out there, mother nature will humble you and your experience, so always have a few redundancy back out plans set before you go..and definitely have a personal locator beacon PLBs on you on a hike especially if you are alone and even when you are not..........
