happiness -
is knowing that i'm finally taking care of my own self, rather than putting me last like i always did.. While my father's alcoholism is something i will always be worried about, i tend to it on a healthy level now.. i know if he won't seek help for himself, it is out of my hands.. From here on, i keep him in my prayers & always want the best for him.. But knowing that i am taking care of me, seeking the help i need, and making the best of my life, feels wonderful.. taking my life back.. getting healthy - smiling lots & loving with all of my heart... REALITY, i'm keeping it.. |
Getting psuedo control of my schedule... after many years...
(and yes, it is still a work in progress... but I am truly working on getting down time.. every week). |
happiness is -
- making lists - making preparations - packing suitcases - making plans & finalizing details with Daddy & knowing i'll be on a plane & in his arms Wednesday night.. i'm so thrilled, excited, anxious & HAPPY!!!!! :awww: |

Happiness is weekend plans to get away and get out of the state..Yes, it may be work-related, but totally looking forward to the car ride..music, coffee, just ús'- no TV, no phone, no bouncing pup or meowing kitty. Happiness is love messages left around the house. |
A home cooked meal , cooked by someone else.
A 75 degree day in the dead of winter. A hot cup of coffee , a newspaper, a patio,all morning long to enjoy it. |

Happiness is my life and the people in it that are real and honest.
Happiness is our crazy, happy little farm and knowing all this belongs to us, no one can take it away! i am so thankful to be here. Happiness is privacy, personal and physical. Happiness is planting a tree where you damn well please. i missed that. :) Happiness is working on me, and having the safe space to do that. Happiness is my being with my Syr, every day and knowing i will always be at Her feet. Happiness is knowing She will never want me to be away from Her, ever. Now that's a good feeling. <3 |

Happiness is having true friends who stick by me no matter what I've done or who I am ~ they show they care day in and day out and I'm very happy that they are part of my life :)

Having my little family that consists of my wonderful, beautiful and supportive wife, and our 2 tuxedo babies (cats) who I love immensely.
Having a steady job (even when I gripe about having a bad day here and there) Having wonderful friends that I consider family whether it be here at the Planet (you all know who you are!!) at work, or in my neighborhood. Having a roof over my head and able to open the fridge/cupboards when I'm hungry or thirsty. and lastly, happiness is...Content with being who I am... |

Making a request to fall asleep listening to her sleep and actually having it happen. A good sleep it was... I needed that lullaby last night. |

Happiness is...
Having someone who loves you so much they sacrifice everything they have to make sure you are happy, and you are willing to do the same, over and over and over. Happiness is having someone who loves you so much, they cuddle up with you and your dogs, and your ferret in bed and smile the whole night, never asking you to kick the critters out of the bed because they love them as much as you. Happiness is just knowing you are complete. :) |
Happiness is having someone who understands me, loves me, respects me, "gets" me, and completes me.
