Last night...
My son tucking me into bed because I was not feeling well. |
Seeing the AWSOME display the turkey buzzards put on out back. Musta been about 50 of them flying around. We have a big cell phone tower in the woods next to our property, and every day they fly, swoop, land on and off the tower. I LOVE turkey buzzards! I even have a board on Pinterest all about them. The buzzard or vulture, is actually my totem animal.

I cleaned out a bunch of my subscriptions here. That let me revisit/refind some others that have fallen silent. It was nice to just reread some of those old threads. Remember friends who have passed on...that brought me joy as well.

I changed phone companies to one with much better customer service and better products! I was so happy to dump my old provider! And I'm loving my new phone!

Driving back home after spending the day two counties over....
Headed for the mountains of Chimney Rock and seeing a big storm just hovering over... Driving through the rain and finding a rainbow on the other side... The way the light shines through clouds after a rain....its almost like a beautiful apology for bad weather.... |

My oldest calling to say he's coming over to do my dishes, floors, and dust all the up high stuff for me on Friday. I’ve got great kids. :cheer: |
Took a mini road trip today and on the way...
Took a mini detour thru really really country back roads to go around a big semi truck accident . Saw, baby lambs, calves, horses, cattle and long horns. Bought a really good apple fritter as my to go breakfast from a little bakery along the way. And the best sight to see...blooming BlueBonnets. Texas state flower. Signs of spring! |

She gave me a ticket to the symphony on Saturday. Its a Mozart piano concerto and other pieces. I'm so super excited!! |
Making corned beef hash just like my great gramma used to.
And getting to watch baby chickens enjoy being babies and preening their new wing feathers. |
The painting is DONE and now I just have to wait for it to dry fully so I can set the furniture up and move the stuff back into the room and out of the rest of my home.

Watching the little mommie & daddy doves...up above the window where I sit at my computer. There is a persistent blue jay who tries hard to get into nest...(hoping babies hatch soon..almost time) and the mommie just shrieks out and chases bluejay off...
