I am in a swirl of "Mercury in retrograde".... and today ended on a REALLY bad note... and I am in a very bad mood.
And my baby went and bought me 20 tix for the Mega Millions cuz I am all snappy and tried to crack a joke and it didn't work and no one laughed and I was an ass... and she wanted to make me feel better.... and I am so lucky..... happiness is.... even though I am still in a bad mood.... I love her cuz she stood in line for me. <-----lucky butch |
Having rejections since January about practicum and internship sites and receiving a response of, "there is a lot of paperwork to go through to do a practicum or internship here. It is the same amount as an employee. There is fingerprinting, child abuse clearances, federal clearances, and more. Do you still want to go through with this? If so we will begin the process." I would take that as a, "Yes. If all paperwork comes back cleared you have the placement". Wouldn't you?? I am to call her Sunday and set up the logistics for Monday to begin the paperwork.
THAT makes me HAPPY. Waiting so long.....apparently this is where I am meant to be. Kinda feel like ahhhhhh. I am home. |
being able to cover a sleep Peppa who looks pitifully at me because she wants desperately to be under a blanket.. any blanket...well a tshirt will do I suppose..

The entire household going out for yummy yogurt covered in nummy toppings... then watching 3 hours of "The Big Bang Theory".... Not sure how I began liking that geek show lol..but now I do.. Happiness is.... being curled up on the love seat with my 3 dogs snuggled in close during said movie adventure |

Sapphire blue eyes...
Silver hair... Strong arms... Bright smile... Contagious laugh... Silliness just because... Surprise detours on the drive home... Hys protective-ness...not in a possessive way rather in a warm, caring and loving way... Hys coffee and first thing in the morning quietness...helps me to chill out on days off from work when i don't have to hit the floor running and be "on" from the moment my eyes open... The loving way hy teases me about being goofy and/or stubborn (ok...mostly the stubborn...lol) A little sock stealing weiner dog... Happiness is my life and, apart from moving closer to Clay, i don't want to change a thing... |

Watching my daughter be a sweet and gentle mother to her baby girl.
Seeing the smile on mx grandbaby's face when she sees my face. Gettin a text from my someone special just sayin hello. Homemade mashed potatoes and gravy... My dog standing in the bay window watching for me to get home. The joy of helping my clients achieve success! Seeing a rainbow after days of rain. Freshly washed sheets, especially if someone else washed them! |

having someone in my life who loves me...just as I am...
being loved so unconditionally knowing she misses me so very much at the end of each visit having someone share the same core values and ideals, having the same moral compass points as I do having someone whose own interests complement yours knowing our D/g AND D/s dynamic is one of our own design! being around someone who loves to get out and about & explore the Island... watching the dolphins play in the estuaries cooking a meal at home spending quiet, lazy times together on the Veranda seeing the smile that lights up her face over the simplest of things done for her having her arms holding me close when the world is quiet and still those awesome back and leg scratches & footrubs...yummmy just having one who loves me...wholly....without restraints...and gives back...to me |

I was very happy to see a big difference in her and how she held herself tonight ...with pride and dignity ...
