Yesterday I did 1 hour on the Stairmaster, and today 30 minutes.

Today's workout was HARD. First, it's the early stages of my cycle and that always makes it feel like I'm wading through mud during my workouts. Second, I went to gym #2, that has been undergoing a renovation. I don't like it. Sure, it's all new equipment but that was the point of that gym. They had equipment that most gyms don't carry now and now they are just like most other gyms. I now have to decide if their classes are worth $25 a month.

My favorite elliptical of all time is GONE now. Poof! I'm taking that one personally.

So, here's the sad little fill in they have now. It's a Matrix, if that makes a difference.

Stats: 160 cal, 1.74 mi, 30:00 min

30 min on the stairmaster

lots of endorphins

special minutes of the day for sure :)

I went to PF today. They got all new cardio equipment so I am helping to break in some of their ellipticals. The new ones are tiiiiiight. You can tell the difference right away.

Warm up: 124 cal, 1.28 mi, 13:00 min

Weight training for approx. 45 minutes

Cool down: stretching on the new, less squishy and soft mats

New equip: +1
New mats: -1

I did 30 minutes on the stairmaster. I am watching a great Netflix doc called "Tower." It is animated and is about the shooting that took place at the University of Texas Tower in 1996 before school shootings had become a thing. It is fascinating and made the time fly by.

Yes! I've had so many times when I'm working out or on a physical adventure and it's like I have nothing... or I've lost all coordination and I feel like an epic failure and then boom- the cycle reminds me... it's just that special day when everything is a little more challenging...

Hello all fitness minded peeps! It's been awhile I posted my exercise experience...

Today I did 45 min. of stairmaster
10 of HIIT on treadmil
4 sets of dumbbell lunges
3 sets of 12 lying leg curls
few min. of overall body stretch

easygoingfemme 04-29-2017 02:52 PM

15 miles on the bike. Crazy head and cross winds in the first 7 miles and some pretty sweet tail winds on the last 8 miles... nice when it works out that way.

Well if I get my lazy butt out there and cut grass and weed wack, that will be a good workout! And since my new self propel mower is acting up and needs to go to the shop to be looked at, I will be using the old push mower which will make me sweat!

Gayandgray 05-03-2017 06:37 PM

I did it!!! Took me close to 3 freaking hours because I had to pull out my chainsaw and work on a big tree branch that was half way falling down. :jester::jester::jester:
