Well...
THAT is an interesting story. When I was hired by my current company, it was under the assumption it was full time. About 2 hours after I got the job, I was told there was a mix up, but not to worry cuz I would get 64 hours a paycheck (2 wks). So I wasn't too worried. MBE noticed that they cut me down from 8 days to 7. That may not seem much on the scheme of things, but, my ins costs me approximately $250/mo. Therefore, approximately 1 day a week, I worked for free. Well, for my ins. My ADON insisted I requested a couple of days off, when I did not. I get every other weekend off. And she put me in for days off before that. Thus, a week vacation that I didn't want. When the ADON was asked about this, because I was not the only one (one of my coworkers received at least 10 days off), we (part-timers) were told "we have to fit you in where we can around full-timers." :| :| We have 3 full-timers. We have 6 part-timers. We're short staffed most days. Yet they cut hours. |

:huhlaugh: scootebaby I almost said look up cause he posted above you then you saw it... ughh.. I lost my chance lol... We saw chocolate covered strawberries at the store on Mothers Day and I have SOOOO wanted some... hmmmm... maybe we will be checking out the strawberries at the store tomorrow...
My tummy is still a little upset... Damon was gonna take me out for ice cream but think its best to wait until tomorrow.. We have the weekend together!! YEAHHHH... Not sure how much I will see him when his job starts.. we dont know the schedule yet... so I am going to enjoy the entire weekend!! |

yeah Damon that is kinda shitty..especially when they are constantly short handed...i manage a pizza place and know how hard it is to meet numbers,but i try really hard to make sure ALL my employess get their hrs..well the ones that deserve it. good evening Cinderella honey yanno its late...why you drinking that coffee? i CANT stay up adn keep u company or my fasting will go right out the window dammit oooh Becca ice cream sounds good...only place i got this late tho is MsDs.. i mean :wtf: its florida...should be ice cream places on every corner NOT liquor stores |

Good morning Honies and Homies, I see last night was a success :) Some new family members (must have been the fondue) Sorry i didn't make it to play, but it would have been embarrassing dropping all that food in the fondue and then finding a willing participant to kiss ;)
I was horizontal and out early last night. It sounded like everyone had a good time. Ok, breakfast this morning will be omelets, sausages,crispy hash browns, home made bread,fruits, coffee,juice, Dr. Pepper for Scoote. One of my favorite things is someone bringing me a wonderful cup of coffee in bed, a back rub and breakfast. I had a lover once that did this for me every morning. Too bad the "other" things weren't quite as nice, however dont think I didn't let it drag on! lol
Mornings are my favorite time. I brought my fountain from the back deck to the front porch. I have a door w/screen from my bedroom to the front porch. I can now open the door and hear the water falling. It's a beautiful thing. Scoote there are ice cream places everywhere in Florida. They are across the street from all the liquor stores. Have you two spent much time in Florida before deciding to live there? A good part of the year its awful hot. I'd love to have two places- one in Adirondacks and another maybe SC by the beaches. |

As always, breakfast served by musicman is the best. Mmmm - Mmmmm *smacks lips* yes, this is also the "chocolate room" LOL My strawberries turned out fabulously, omg, and the first thing into my mouth this morning was one of those sweet babies. *smacks lips* The sun rose today in full glory and right now, all is quiet in my world. Save for some chirping birds and the scream of a seagull. Musicman - i bet you were pooped last night. i missed the festivities myself. Being an early riser, it also comes with early departure from the awake world. i need a woman's dance that begins at 4 pm LOL (don't laugh, i'm soooooo serious!) Will gladly help you out this morning for a music selection. If the peeps don't mind my selection of get up and dance tunes. i'm just that kinda gal. becca that is fabulous about Damon :cheerleader: Enjoy your special weekend. How is your garden coming along? Good Morning Jo Jo and Scoote,
I am still here in my room looking at my pictures of Paris and daydreaming about going over there one day. I had a house full of people yesterday and my best friend's little boy has kept us both up Thursday. For some reason, he is still not sleeping through the night and since his room is next to mine, I hear him when he gets up at 12:40am and 2:30am. I went back to bed after she left for work yesterday and I slept until 8:30a, whoopps. I am glad that she is off tomorrow, but I have to take my phone to the Apple store in Orlando to see if they can fix it. When I call someone, they sound like they are under water.
