My Blessings!

For so very many things. My wonderful son that has help me learn that parents can make mistakes and still be great parents. For still having my wonderful mom after almost losing her 2 months ago. Even if we don't agree on my life. For the friends I have made here. For the sunshine coming back into my heart.

A rainy day. We need it! Plus it was almost 50 degrees this am. So I got to run for the first time in weeks!!

...for my wonderful family and all the love and support they give and that i am able to provide that in return.
for this delicious rain! it poured all night long and is supposed to continue all week. YIPPEE!! for the acceptance and understanding that sometimes my poor choices lead to the best of outcomes. my future is something i actually look forward to very much these days and that in and of itself is super exciting and new. :) |
I am so Thankful that my best friend is out of the hospital today and still okay after having a mini stroke :candle:

I am so grateful for having internet...I dont know how my life would be without it. Sometimes I am so housebound for days on end and the internet is my only contact with the world outside my door. And, it has helped me research and discover so many wonderful things this year. I havent forgotten what it was like before the internet...when there was barely a way to find others, or to get information, or to connect somehow with people you never would have met. When i think about who wouldnt be in my life right now, without the internet, I shiver...

Today marks 1 year of living life in a different manner... one to honor myself instead of sabotage. one day at a time...

This Friday at 5 p.m.....when I will turn off my work computer and my work phone and not give anything work-related another thought until after Christmas. :)

Enough money.
A safe and comfortable home. My sister. The bestest sister in the whole world! Good, true friends. I love you all! (even the one who told me my new nail polish was horrible :|) Laughter. My own and that of the people I care about. Family I love and who love me back, warts and all. |

- a growth within, which is continually bringing me more confidence, esteem & self-love everyday... - steps to my own Recovery for my food addiction/eating disorder - which throws me challenges every single moment of each day - but i'm working hard and striving forward, always.. - a love so true and that brings me so much happiness with my loving Daddy, Mr Mtn. - family, friends & furbabies between the two of Us.. a life together surrounded by Our loved ones.. ♥ - this community, growing friendships, encouragement, people falling in love, knowledge, people sharing their hearts, their memories, i love reading these boards.. they always bring me smiles ! |
