I woke up in the middle of the night and couldn't get back to sleep, so I watched the lightning and thunderstorm that came through our area. I dozed off to the rain that finally came and woke up around 9 something. The bed got made, I had breakfast, and I tidied a bit in the bathroom before showering and getting ready to go see a friend in the hospital. Ebon got off of work late so we were a tad behind as we started the trip, but we made good time. We came, we saw, we visited, we joked, we came home. Got gasoline and had lunch, then Ebon had to go back for the second part of his split shift. I tidied up a bit and called my boss to talk about tomorrow (it's a super big cleaning, gonna bust your ass kind of day) and have been playing on here for a while. Later on, I'm going to take out the trash and recycling, drop the Netflix off in the mail and check to see if anything new and unusual found it's way to my mailbox. Dinner will be in the works too.

Met with my advisor today. I thought we were only going to do this upcoming summer semester but pretty much planned out my entire course schedule from now thru graduation. At least I kinda know what to expect when. :)

Managed to drag my butt out of bed.. get dressed and go to work.. sleepy girl..
Worked 11 1/2 grueling hours.. but got a hella lot done.. Walked in the door at 830 PM.. Mopped the floor while talking to my best friend.. Made myself 2 hot pockets because I had no desire to eat anything but knew I needed to... Thats about it.. |

* submitted yet another job application * negotiated some more wedding-related esty purchases * put away the laundry from yesterday that was air drying in the bathroom * got to the bank, only to find the ATM out of service Need to make the "to do" list for tomorrow...must register for fall classes, among other important things. |

I finally found some contractors to give me bids to replace the shower unit. I suspect when they tell my how much this will cost, I will either faint, explode, or ask them to use only the finest imported Italian marble and send the bill to the CEO of Goldman Sachs. |
I have managed to put a 8 inch gash into the side of my hip....to match the 5 inch one on the side of my knee. Both will be there forever. You see, I have a tv tray I put my laptop on. It sits by my couch. I slid beside it to lay on the couch. Or so I thought. My slide was not graceful and I sliced instead of slid.

I got up early, drank coffee and revised my resume to include my finished degree. I will be resubmitting that puppy all over the place trying to improve my employment. Keeping my fingers crossed.

- got up & got the children off to school..
- tossed chicken in the slowcooker.. - loaded the dishwasher.. - tossed in a load of laundry.. - climbed back in bed for some extra z's catchup.. - woke & got some time with Daddy before he was off to work..♥ - showered & painted my toenails.. - got dressed, am now straightening hair, and applying a little makeup.. - also eating a salad, with some fresh pineapple for dessert.. - off to Costco soon with a friend.. - then off to work, today is my weigh in for one week on my Eat Well & Be Active challenge.. (i'm nervous) .. |
i awakened....
i awakened, and that is a good thing! so far i have fed the cat, let the hound out, and fed myself. that is it for now. i have plans for the day, however. i have got got to deal w/bureaucrats on the phone :(, laundry to do, femmy things to, and then to rest up for tomorrow!

Well what I accomplished today was ...gettin up and going to work,then I was helping to decorate for easter sooo then somehow my left thumb got tangled in some plistic bags that were really loaded..u gessed it I poped my thunb clean out of joint,pulled a tendon..it hurts something awful gggrrrrrr.Thats what I gte for doing the mr.nice guy thing.

Worked 2-11 Dealt with a LOT of rude, 'entitled' customers :| Went grocery shopping after work Got some deals {BOGO bread and TP}, and bought some vitamins Came home and put said groceries away Took my vitamins Cleaned out fridge and threw out wilted flowers Wiped down counters after putting stuff away that was on them Put away dishes and washed the ones in the sink Swept the kitchen Took all the clothes out of the bathroom Emptied suitcase we used to see my folks and put it away Going to maybe put some clean clothes away now. Eating dinner finally and watching Father of the Bride so we'll see. |

First load of laundry in the dryer; second load in the washer. Waiting for it to get daylight enough to spray broadcast weed killer on the front yard. Going to kayaking demo days with a couple of friends later this morning. Plan on taking a nap this afternoon. Glynn |

So we made the matzo ball soup for passover and next is the turkey on MOnday and took care of the animals for the morning meds and food!! that is enough so far!!

Found a lower-priced DJ then any we've found on-line Talked to my dad on the phone Went to Verizon and inquired about our service agreements Went out for lunch Came home and researched Vermont in reference to getting married Talked to my sister E-mailed the JoP we like Catching up on some L word and relaxing |
