I haven't watched Idol except for the auditions for years. However this year I have been watching........this year has the most talent ever on the show. I am glad they finally got Steven Tyler to quit hitting on the young 'uns.......laughin...........Jennifer is great just to look at and get a glimpse of her shoes and outfits when they introduce the judges.

Pia is a second rate lounge singer..........I have visions of the piano bar at the Kansas City Marriott and her doing the singing. Glad she is gone.

The Rod Stewart wanna be needs to go next......Paul is it???

Jacob.....the black guy with the incredible voice I think.......they damn sure are trying to butch him up from the auditions.........no screaming queens on Idol.

Stefano with the bedroom eyes has the least talent and should not be there.

That little shit kicker is beyond hot and will be the next great country star........he will probably win. He is probably already in the studio cutting his first CD.

Rocker boy is growing on me.

I like the girl country singer who did Joplin the other night........she is a contender.

I'm glad to see that some people weren't surprised to see pia go. I liked her but really felt her performance and Jacobs were the weakest. From there i didn't know who would be the third.

I think Paul will be back in the bottom three but he actually did have a good performance this week and got lucky. I'm really not sure who is my favorite.

I like scotty because I'm envious of his low voice ... I would kill for it.

Probably the two girls left would be my favorites!

I think the boys will begin to fall now but it's really up to who has the weakest performance that week.

I think stefano, paul, and jacob will be the next three just not sure what order

I love Casey, I think he is quite possibly the most talented one there. He not only can play the bass like no other but his vocal ability is marvelous.

I love Lauren and Haley as well. Give me that growl, smoke two packs of smokes a day vocals and you have me melting.

I think Jacob and Paul have over stayed their welcome on the show.

i think if Casey, Lauren, Haley, or the Scotty were to get the boot Interscope would scoop them up. I'm not sure if Interscope has the rights to the top 10. I can tell you that the producer who helps the contestants each week isn't there to just help through the week. He is there to pick up the pieces as they fall (hence Pia was picked up).

Being in the industry i have my thoughts on the whole Idol concept. i think when you leave "big" decisions to the public it is a mistake. I think one runs into issues like with Pia. When you have websites geared to voting for the underdogs year after year and knocking out true talent there is a problem.

I also believe and have said from the beginning that it is "fixed" They know what makes for good programing and "good TV".

It is a business and business is in it to make money and when a label has to put out millions to make a number one song a hit on the charts they need to know they will recoup that money. You are not going to put that kind of money ESPECIALLY in these economical times into someone that is not going to be able to sell enough so the labels recoup what they put into them.

Just my two Canadian cents.

I think Lauren, scotty, and james are the three safest ones this week.

I would be very surprised if Paul and Stefano weren't in the bottom three.

I really like Haley but her performance tonight could put her in the bottom however she may get votes because she is only one of two girls left.

I really like Casey but I don't hink his performance tonight came over the tv like it may have in real life.

I really haven't liked Jacob as much as in the auditions but tonights performance may have saved him from the bottom.

Hmmm. I am thinking that either Jacob or Haley will go home tonight. Jacob acted like a 3 year old pouting on TV last night IMO. I found it rather off putting honestly.

I'm glad other people saw that! I was say he, Jacob, is the one up there that hasn't seemed to grown at all, just gone backwards.

The thing I like about stefano is he listens to what they say and atleast uses the information to fight back. Although I have to say last night I was thinking he looks better when he sings with his eyes closed .... his one eye was weird looking!

I agree, Jacob hasn't grown any as an artist during the process. To me, he has remained the same. I know a lot of people that are voting for him just because he is gay, but not me.

I like Scotty lol.

Scotty and Jacob. If I close my eyes and just listen, it's their voices alone that stand out.

That's my litmus test and I'm sticking to it.

I never really liked Jacob that much. It's like he's holding back or something...I dunno, something missing there.

Based on what i saw last night my bottom three would be Paul, Haley and Casey.

As I have said, Paul has outstayed his welcome, Haley was weak last night and my fear is Casey should have done in the Air Tonight instead of the song he picked. The public is finicky and if the audience voting doesn't know the song they are singing, this makes me nervous.

All the time Casey is singing the song i'm talking to the TV, bad choice, bad choice, you just sealed your fate.

As everyone said last night to Stefano, you have to sing to win not to stay. It's great to have integrity and be true to one self but this is a competition and you have to play to win, not be able to lay your head on your pillow and say you stuck to your guns and sang the song YOU wanted to sing.

Is the first Casey suppose to be paul?

To be honest, usually at this point in American Idol, I would have 2-3 favorites that I would want to win. I can't really say that I have a favorite this year. Well, if I HAD to pick ONE, I would pick Scotty. Not sure why I don't have a few fav's. Maybe Idol seems a little more staged this season than it has on prior seasons???

Of all the people getting on my nerves, Ryan tops the list.

I'm really pleased with the outcome tonight. As the weeks go by, I still can't decide on a favorite. Haley, at her best, is one favorite. But, at her worst, she should go home. Same with Jacob. I can't help loving Scotty, even though country is not my favorite genre.
