:king: I believe in angels.

:king: I listen to Coast to Coast with George Noory.

:king: I want to go to Poland to see Auschwitz and the various camps. I want to pray there.

:king: I used to collect glass shots.

:king: The Andrea Gail swordfishing boat...I hope that one day some researcher finds the vessel (think of the movie "The Perfect Storm"). I love that movie. It is so well done. It reminds me of the Titanic.

1) I'm still obsessed with 80's music

2) I'm a big kid at heart

3) I don't know how to swim, roller skate or ice skate

4) When I was a kid, I used to love wearing My papa's big work boots (even got a picture of Me in them)

Andrew, Jr. 05-16-2010 03:10 PM

:smelling-flower: I want to get a remote controlled helicopter.

:smelling-flower: I love my body pillow.

:smelling-flower: I collect baseball hats.

:smelling-flower: I cannot roller stake or ice skate.

:smelling-flower: As I get older, I find the heat & humidity harder to take.

{Only for u Jen}

I'm stubborn....very... :mohawk:

I'm an avid aggressive skater, in my Teens I thrived on putting both my grrl and my mother on the verge of a heart attack with my stunts{the very few times I fucked up, I just brushed it off *next day I'd sport a nasty bruise*} :beerbros:

I've been to Auschwitz-Birkenau, Bergen-Belsen, and Dachau..The experiences were unique, I had to stop my tour briefly a few times.{the joys of Military family life}

I lurv big big Dogs...Especially Great Danes, Bullmastiffs, Borzoi's and English Sheepdogs...I just can't afford 'em right now .. :dogwalking:

I also Luv Guinea Pigs.. 'specially Peruvians {aka living breathing hairpiece} & Silkie Satin {there Is a difference!!}, I don't have any currently because a suitable Cage for 1 guinea pig takes a lot of Room, and sometimes Costs..That and my ferrets will assume " chunky, noisy Cavy = food" :seeingstars:

 :wine:

bigbutchmistie 05-16-2010 07:39 PM

I love homeade hamburger pizza with lots of mozzarella cheese

I love Desperate Houswives and have never missed an episode

I have to sleep to the sound of a box fan running. Not blowing on me.

I love playing SkipBo and Uno but havent played in years.

I love my dog Simon so much like he was a kid. He gets treated like it anyway lol :)

Dante 05-17-2010 09:56 AM

1. I grind My teeth in My sleep.
2. I talk in My sleep.
3. I was voted "best athlete" in My High School yearbook.
4. I was the class clown.
5. I am addicted to Big Brother, My favorite Reality show!

NJFemmie 05-17-2010 10:36 AM

When I was a kid, I used to do a lot of things with one hand. My father was missing a hand, and I was always curious about how he managed - so I trained myself to do things with one hand to see what it was like. He always found it amusing, but at the same time, it (and he) taught me to be grateful for things we don't often think about having.

I really can't wait for our veggie garden to start growing. I've developed an obsession with Mare's homemade salsa.

I used to love adding sugar to my coffee (or cereal). I no longer add sugar to anything I eat or drink and find myself actually enjoying the miracle of Equal. (But I haven't given up my Pepsi....yet....)

I have an obsession with lights. I've recently lined the driveway/walkway with solar lawn lights and spotlights, and will soon be working my way into the yard. I love all things solar.

The next door neighbor has the most adorable bulldog. I want to steal him. (But, I won't, for now....)

Lynn 05-17-2010 10:41 AM

I never wanted a pony, wanted to play the guitar, or marry any rock stars. I thought Barry Manilow was sappy, and I didn't wear makeup until I was an adult.

I'm easily embarrassed and usually think that I had something to do with any problem in my vicinity, even if it had nothing to do with me. It's a kind of perverted egotism....

There isn't a day that passes that I don't think about money: how to pay bills, how to have enough to retire, how to do the things we want to do.

Having my kids grow up has been unexpectedly sad for me. My daughter graduated from college on Saturday and I was taken by surprise by my sadness.

When people in my neighborhood (who I don't even know) have parties, I always feel a little hurt and left out. Crazy.

Soft*Silver 05-17-2010 11:03 AM

I have a texture issue about food.

I am the youngest in my family

my fingers have just started developing the age related creases on my finger tips. I find them fascinating and think about all the wonderful things my hands have experienced over the years to have been awarded these creases

if I see a penny on the floor I always pick it up..even if its on the street as I am crossing. Its a thing I have with my God. I promise to value all money, even the lowly lost penny if I am to be promised never to be without money..it works and not always in the most obvious ways..

I wake up to birds every morning..as the dawn breaks and the light begins to slide into the sky. I dont always get up. Sometimes I just listen and then fall back asleep..

:usa: I grind my teeth at night. I have a night guard, but my 3 cats are fascinated by it. When I have my night terrors, seizures, or talking, and it cames out of my mouth, they have pounced on it. I refuse to get another one.

:bouquet: I would like to get a Sound Soother from Sharper Image. I wore the last one out. I love it and highly recommend it. :listening::musicnote:

I have little to no tolerance for bullshit, in any form.

I got chewed out by my boss when I showed up at work (Tuesdays are normally my Fridays) accidentally (but not about showing up on my day off). It was fun.

:whoop:

My coworkers are spineless babies that run to the boss instead of coming to me with their whiney-ass complaints.

I bought ice cream today and, most likely, it will be gone by the time I get to bed...sometime around 2am.

I am counting down the days....:downhillski:

...I LOVE FOOTBALL:footballpass:

Rook 05-22-2010 03:04 PM

I was raised to 'love' BOTH Star Wars & Star Trek....

I'm a chronic nail biter..Been this way since I was an Infant, I've tried dozens of "remedies", my uncles have Bribed in so many way, hell my father happily smacked me when he'd catch me....so..yeah...I did notice I'm worse when stressed/pissed off, My latest attempt are "dumdum" lollipops...

I'm picky about my Pizza, what goes on, what type of dough, where to buy it..I'll turn a blind eye only if 1 out of those 3 isnt met...Otherwise? I'll find something else to eat.

I prefer rainy/cool days, sunny days are nice, comfortable, I can wear lighter clothes...But, rainy days are better...I can wear long sleeves & Hoodies w/o people asking if I'm ok..

I enjoy Detailing my car...Unless it rains...Which usually triggers a childish tantrum with a Sailors worth of foul words, followed by sulking and planning for the next sunny day. :overreaction:

:computer2:

Enchantress 05-22-2010 05:48 PM

Little bits of this and that

1. I am an extremely quiet person. I sometimes worry that there's not enough noise to stimulate my :dog:'s mind (and this in turn elicits feelings of guilt)

2. I have almost every song ever written in my head(and can bring forth excerpts of said songs at any time). Yet I can not for the life of me rememember why I have entered a room most of the time. I blame my shrunken hypothalamus (no, it's true. It does shrink!)

3. I used to be a morning person. Now, I don't know what I am. I'm thinking it's possible I've become a *mid-morning* person (but mid morning is simply not practical). Perhaps because I sometimes stay up too late? But I'm not a *night owl* either. It's a conundrum. No joke.

4. Despite my Sunnyvale upbringing I've been known to use a four letter word on occasion. Actually that word was fudge (of course I realize that's more than four letters, but I use it like four) okay, I might use a bit of a stronger word now and again.

5. I sneeze at a pitch only dogs can hear. :|

Medusa 05-22-2010 06:07 PM

* Im a huge fan of the "Really Bad Movie". (Today I watched "Clan of the Cave Bear")

* I LOVE to iron.

* People who senselessly litter irritate the piss out of me.

* I love to get packages in the mail.

* I sang "Do Me with Love" by Janie Fricke in the 4th grade talent show. :|

Soon 05-22-2010 06:18 PM

I've never watched an episode of Lost and am watching the first episode of the first season now.

I've worked on three continents but only speak one language (boo!).

I've never been single for very long.

Two people, who were once very close to me, are now very far.

Chocolate chip mint frozen yogurt is in my near future.

Andrew, Jr. 05-22-2010 06:32 PM

:drummer: I love love love mint chocolate chip ice cream

:drummer: I despise child predators, rapists, and so on

:drummer: I always flush toilets with my foot when using public restrooms

:drummer: I love large print word searches

:drummer: I enjoy being retired now

:curtain: I'm slightly self-conscience about my dialysis graft, most of my thanks goes to the 2 establishment "hoestess"[typo intentional] that mistakenly assumed I was a heroin addict and both tried shooing me off...{I did remove any doubt, before leaving on my own}

Rook 05-22-2010 07:04 PM

I'm workin on it....
My bad..

:balloon:

NJFemmie 05-23-2010 05:55 AM

I have to have at least two cups of coffee in the morning, otherwise I am either bearish or zombie like during the day. However, I won't normally drink coffee after 11am.

I'm not the cranky, grumpy type when I wake up in the morning. It's not often I wake up with a grump face on. Some mornings even consist of song.

Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day.

I make up personalized songs to sing to my cat(s). Each one had their own special lyrics. Now, I am down to one cat, and (lucky him, lol) he's been getting full attention.

In the past, I have been accused of being too aloof. However, those that know me well know that I'm much more sensitive than I appear. I was always taught to not let things show. Inside, I could be a raging emotional mess, but externally, I'll appear quite Spock-like. On the upside, this "quality" has spared me from engaging in a lot of senseless drama.

Blade 05-23-2010 06:19 AM

I am witty some even say I'm a smartass

I love biscuits and gravy

Beef Jerky and Gala apples are my snack of choice

I spent ALL of my lunch money and allowance most weeks on you guessed Pacman

I bet I have 20 or more cookbooks, that I've never opened. I don't use recipes I just throw stuff together

UofMfan 05-23-2010 08:29 AM

1. I don't live in Peru.

2. I have an accent, although I hate to admit it.

3. I am passionate, very, which is always in conflict with #5.

4. Few people get to see my child-like side.

5. I am extremely analytical and cerebral, this is not always a good thing.

bigbutchmistie 05-23-2010 08:49 AM

Beauty And The Beast is my favorite movie

When I wake up in the morning Im in neither a bad mood or a good mood. I just am neutral. I can go either way. LOL And usually need Starbucks and Extreme Sausage Sandwich on a Crossaint from Jack N Box for breakfast for me to even get going in the mornings during the week. The weekend it doesnt matter :)

I cant get enough of Crime Shows.

My Brother was adopted with me and is my bio brother.

Ive had a long distance relationship before and was left waiting at the airport for hours on end to find out she didnt show cause she was actually bi and married.

Rook 05-23-2010 09:26 AM

-•- You can tell, very much, my Mood when I'm waking up...If it's good, I'll probably try to smile at some point *after receiving coffee*..If it's Bad, just..try to leave me alone for 3 hours, it'll change...eventually..

-•- I didn't spend all my lunch money on Pac-Man....I spent it on Galaga and Air Hockey...

-•- Like UofM, I have an accent too{or so I'm told}.And it gets stronger when I'm passionate about a topic/issue...

-•- I thoroughly enjoy, almost Prefer, sending snail mail Cards on certain Holidays/Occasions, with 1st Class Postage Stamps of my choice [Post Office knows me by name, and usually brings out the Binder when he see's me -dorky smile-]

-•- I realized I'm a creature of habit when the lady at my fave chinese take out once asked if I was ok, since I didnt order my usual coconut milkshake {i asked for passionfruit, w/o tapioca *gag*}

Boots13 05-23-2010 09:48 AM

5 climbing food things

1. Whole wheat fig newtons are tasteless little pucks of sawdust, not the treat I had hoped they would be.

2. I love kippered snacks and sardines, but for days out in the field the leftover tins reek...so it's jerky instead :(

3. Lemon heads rock, until you eat so many of them they start to disintegrate the lining of your cheek

4. GU packs are great, until that sticky bio-engineered goop gets on your hands, you cant exactly lick it off cause its still stuck to the inside of your mouth...the only way I can get it off is to run my fingers through my sweat soaked hair (I know, verging on disgusting)

5. My most favorite food at the end of a hard day at altitude is instant mashed potatoes . Yum ! And its not so sticky if your happen to get in on your hands :)

Toofrufru 05-23-2010 10:12 AM

I love to bake but am not wild about sweets
One of my biggest turn ons is seeing her with our fur babies
My daily meditations guide my day
I spill over with tears when I am happy
I truly love my job

Gemme 05-23-2010 10:36 AM

I wake up more happy or neutral than cranky, but when I do wake up a sourpuss....don't talk to me. It's easier on both of us, since I won't have to make time in my day to dispose of the body.

I have a half-sibling who is 11 1/2 years older than me.

I got a chip in a tooth from an elbow. It wasn't even from something fun like sports or cool like a schoolyard fight....we were departing a plane and she put on her backpack and I was too close and at the wrong angle.

I love erotica.

36 is the year of the hair dye, I think. I haven't dyed my hair since I was in middle school, so this could be interesting.

Spirit Dancer 05-23-2010 11:14 AM

I'm a grandmother

Rook 05-23-2010 02:42 PM

-- I lurv Beijing Opera

--- My weakness is : strawberry shortcake...and tiramisu....and cannoli.....not in that order..

--
I'm very picky about Vampire movies...

--- Leaf/wood burning outdoors on a warm day has a soothing effect..brings back pleasant memories...

I was supposed to be a redhead. I know this and have known this for all my life, so when the dye comes on, I'm headed that way. I'll most likely go auburn.

Redheads also have a chromosome that makes it more difficult for anesthesia to work properly, so they need more of it given to them. Same with Novacaine, I've read. Do you find that that is true for you?

That would explain my "resistance" to anesthesia...
Anesthesiologists have a dandy time with me...2 times in OR, i woke mid-surgery, they did take precaution the second time, they kept poking my lower back with numbing shots...

My latest dental appointment, the Dentist mercifully went beyond the 'limit' a little, tooth was deeper than she thought, and I still felt the "crunch" before she yanked...

When they performed a bone marrow biopsy, the shot didnt kick in until i was in the elevator back to my room, I kept hitting the numb spot, sayin shit that would make a salty pirate blush...

When they had no choice but to put a Femoral artery Catheter, he gave a local sedative, I felt every bit of it, u'd swear I was being tortured if u walked by my room...

bigbutchmistie 05-23-2010 03:07 PM

I absolutely love slow deep passionate kisses that last for hours

Im a football/hockey fan and cant stand basketballl/baseball/golf

A handyman I am not. I'd rather pay someone to fix it. Or call my guy friends over lol

I am a big fat sissy when it comes to snakes/bugs

Ive never been camping

*nods*

I read about it a while ago and heard something on TV not too long ago....on an evening news type show...20/20 or 60 minutes maybe. Oh, and I think something was mentioned on The Doctors once.
