Good Morning Everyone,

I slept from 10:45p until 8am this morning...I am thinking, I was tired. Duckland has taking a lot out of me...:rubberducky:

How about some chocolate Cheerios mixed with honey nut Cheerios, toast, fresh fruit and juice this morning for breakfast? I mixed the chocolate and honey nut Cheerios for work the last few days, and it was really good.

Hope you all have a great day!

Zimmy

Good morning everyone :)

Traumatic day yesterday....reconciling myself with it today...and overall feeling the need of this...

Zimmy, glad to hear you're moved in....take some time to relax and treat yourself...that's exhausting!

I'm off to work (sorta)...and mostly glad that I have no conference calls today, so I can just work with "stuff" instead of people. Tomorrow is a different story with pretty much solid calls...

Hope you all have a great day. :gimmehug:

Good Morning Jo Jo,

Hope today is a better day for you and how is Rooster enjoying DC? I am taking it easy, just trying to figure out what I want to do with all of this Princess House crystal that I found when I unpacked my stuff. I am thinking of maybe putting it up on Craigs list or Ebay. I have no room for it and my small curio cabinet can only hold my Swarovski crystal pieces..

Your breakfast looks delicious! I am thinking of grabbing a plate and then eating in bed...

Have a great day,

Zimmy

Good morning everyone! :)

:bringcoffee: Coffee is ready and breakfast is too...

http://williamshouse.com/files/2010/...breakfast3.jpg

I've got a day of conference calls today (my poor ears), and am looking forward to this evening (when Scoote and I may head out to the movies). Hope you're able to relax some Zimmy....you've had a busy, busy time lately.

Anyone making early plans for the weekend yet?

After pulling the cats off the top of the fence (again) and filling the hole Grayson dug underneath it (again), I'm thinking that I'm just going to really hunker down and finish as much as I physically can of this yard project.

We're pounding in edging, laying down compost to improve the soil around the plantings along the fence, layering cardboard (to kill the grass and weeds and also make a discouraging "kitty digging" barrier for a little while anyway), then covering with a thick layer of mulch. The goal is to end up with a weed-free, maintenance-free, much prettier area along the edge of the yard...which will also improve the plants as well by composting and retaining some of the moisture with the mulch. We managed to do one corner so far, but it's hot and sweaty work for sure.

I've been speaking to Rooster every night while he's in DC. The conference is going well, but he's tired from the long days. When we spoke last night he was distracted by the laughing and talking that he was participating in with his group...so that's a good thing. He did say that he wanted more time in the museums then they got though...so we might be making a family trip back to do some more leisurely museum visits. :)

Hope you all have a great day! :gimmehug:

Jo, those yard plans sound great and well thought out. I hear you on the cat issue. Rene either puts chicken wire around whatever he plants or, as in the recently planted blueberries, he has placed old fence boards around them (not the best of looks ) so the cats don't avail themselves of the enticing dirt.

I assisted my honey in working on the absent neighbor's yard for the last two days. My mature body is reminding me none to gently about the most recent lack of physical usage. LOL And we still aren't done.

Thanks for the coffee and breakfast. I am starving.

Good Afternoon Jo Jo,

I am sitting here enjoying a bologna sandwich with spicy mustard on wheat bread with a large glass of orange juice for lunch. Glad to hear Rooster is enjoying DC! Have you all been to Boston? I lived there for almost three months and I enjoyed every minute of it. Let me know when you all come back to Orlando. Matt, was going through his clothes and the items he didn't want, he is donating to the Salvation Army. While going through his stuff, he found a Star Wars Leather Jacket and was going to throw it away. I grabbed it and put it in my closet. If you think Rooster, would like it, he can have it. I am Fed Exing you a huge bottle of Lavender Bath Salts, so you can relax after those conference calls. Have fun at the movies tonight! Have you tried chicken wire at the bottom of the fence? My mom does this to keep her dogs from digging underneath the fence.

Have a great day,

Zimmy

Hi Zimmy :)

I've debated about the chicken wire....I know it's effective, but a lot of work to install. If this strategy doesn't work, it may have to be the next step!

You would be Rooster's hero with the Star Wars jacket....thank you!!!! And a long soak in lavendar bath salts sounds like heaven on earth... *sigh*

I have been to Boston and loved the museums there....Chicago too. I'm glad Rooster likes museums, because I sure do. And YES on the Orlando thing....I'm seriously contemplating a day at the Coronado's pool.....when is your day off?

Hugs,
Jo

Zimmeh 07-13-2011 11:59 AM

I have post orientation on Friday until 2pm. I will know tomorrow what my days off will be next week. I'll put the jacket on a hanger until you can puck it up. It is a size large.

It has Star Wars Episode 1 embroidered on the left front, and two patches on the sleeves. It is a brown color.

I keep a bottle of lavender body lotion on my desk at work.

Have fun today,

Zimmy

Good Morning Everyone,

I am thinking of a healthy breakfast this morning. How about some Greek Yogurt, fresh fruit, whole wheat toast, juice and milk? :freetoaster::tea:

I have to work a mid shift today and I am looking forward to getting off tonight at 7pm. Then I have my post orientation tomorrow at 10am, which is all over time for me.

Have a great day,

Zimmy

JustJo 07-14-2011 07:31 AM

Good morning everyone :)

Sounds like a healthy breakfast Zimmy, thank you! And let me know on days off....I'd love to lounge by the pool with an umbrella drink and visit. :) I'll show you how we crash the resorts. :giggle:

No one fights me for the coffee pot dark crystal, since I'm the only one in the house that drinks it *gloating face*....but I'll join you in a cup just the same.

Hope you all have a great day! :gimmehug:

:lips: to my :alarm: sweetie...
