Finding out that at my new job I have President's Day off.
Then finding out that this year President's Day falls on the Monday before Mardi Gras. Then realizing I have tons of comp time already accrued thanks to property tax season so that I can take the Friday before the Monday before Mardi Gras off. All this to say WE ARE FINALLY GOING BACK TO MARDI GRAS this year. :freak: And The Boy is plenty tall enough to snatch beads out of the air now!!!!!!! :D :D :D |
watching the pups play when I brought my "Woo Bear" over for a play date with Tash and Dippy-Doodle... they act like they haven't seen each other in a year!! How comical!! Woo Bear grabs Tash's ear... she swings her butt around and SLAMS him. Then she jumps up next to Blade and SQUISHES Dippy-Doodle!! All poor Dippy could do is give a rumble growl... she's 3 times his size. ....Dippy is now squished between Blade and Tash... I think he's happy he's finally warm after the last two days? These three pups are the BEST comic relief after a long day!

getting a phone call from my boy in Indiana saying it is 4 days clean....which is HUGE for him,because his mom and friends feed his addiction,and he has only his g/f of 10 yrs(and me) as his support system.

At the grocery store, the clerk and I were talking about how lazy we were today so I talked about how much I didn't want to make dog food but it had to be done. She said "Oh, that's why you buy all this stuff?" It's an odd assortment of food. So I told her "yes" and she said "someone is spoiled" and laughed. I said, "Yep, she's my baby."
She helped me carry the groceries out to the car and there was Blossom all happy and excited to see us and it was just such a sweet moment. I really love my dog. |

I read recently that everyone should exercise at least a half an hour a day for good health. A brisk walk counts! Which in my book gives me an excuse to go to the Mall on my dinner break and speed shop (*laughs*) ... and this makes me smile. :)
