Listening to Christmas music, drinking Jim Beam, wishing I had some eggnog, feeling relieved I got all the wrapping done

I’m baking off another round of Snickerdoodle cookies… I love to eat them fresh from the oven while they are still warm. Vanilla Cinnamon goodness.
Now for a cup of coffee with sugar free creamer and a few of those cookies. Breakfast of champions… :) :stillheart: |

Getting ready for a hike! It's supposed to get up to 30 degrees today but right now it's only 18 degrees. Yikes. I'm gathering up all of my fleece everything. I think we're shooting for a 6-7 mile trail so we will warm up.

Doing Right Now
Just said goodbye to my brother. We exchanged cards and gifts. I am happy for him, he has a new gf. He is happy too, it is lifting him up and it brings a big smile to my face.

Making Christmas cupcakes for my lunch buddy's class. She requested both vanilla and chocolate cupcakes with red and green frosting. I think she will be the popular one in class tomorrow!

Watching football. I'm excited...my first year in this all girl fantasy football league, I'm first in my division! I hope I win$$
I'm also realizing that I have made 6 dozen cupcakes, 6 dozen cookies and two pans of mint chocolate fudge, in the last 5 days. I feel like I've been doing dishes forever!! Lol. Happy to say, that's all I'm doing and the dishes are all done. Oh, and I made a big crock pot of chili yesterday. I think I'm gonna just sit and work on this baby blanket I'm crocheting. |
I'm sitting in my car, spying on Best Butch's truck. It's her Birthday day week and she is going to her Mom's.
I filled the cab of the truck with balloons. She is suppose to leave around now, I want to see her surprise! But alas, it's time for me to go clock in. ...ahhhhh |

I just got through making brunch for myself. It’s very tasty. I pan seared some spicy Italian sausage, then added sliced cremini mushrooms, sliced organic carrots, tiny cloves of garlic, then added baby spinach leaves to steam them and release valuable nutrients. Half of an avocado to spread on a slice of pan toasted veggie bread. Clean spring water to drink.

Organizing my kitchen and being harassed by one of my cats. They had a lazy morning lounging on the couch and getting high on some new treats. Now one is sleeping it off and the other is purring and trying to get alllll of my attention.
