getting ready to go to dinner with friends and then home early to relax after a terrible week

My Saturday night is being spent inside and alone which is the way that I want it. I've had a few very busy weekends one after another recently and, given I work very long hours, I like to have the odd weekend where I do very little but relax, chill out, watch TV and generally be unproductive but without the guilt.
This is one of those weekends. |
Watching movies with D&B and relaxing with some good food to munch on!

I had an emergency call this evening and had to go out, which squashed my plans. So, I am sitting at home watching basketball and cooking.

Papa is sick so we are having a grunge day. I am "feeding hys cold." I've made brunch, cookies and a big ole dinner!

Tonight I begin work on my course final project and then homework for another class, mixed in there is making some muffins and doing laundry oh and I should probably grade some papers but I think I will put that off for Sunday.

Well, I've not been feeling well so I decided to spend most of my day at home. Oranizing my desk, laundry, etc. Then I went to this LGBT dance at the Unitarian church. What a BLAST! My ex was there but this time it didn't bother me, so I went up and said hi. I think she and I are going to be ok. Her best friend was there also, but I can't take her. Her friend is very manipulative. I did meet this hansome, beautiful woman. Tall, skin the color of milk chocolate, the biggest brown eyes,,,000000000000 I am telling you!!! Long legs... I better stop now!! lol We shall see. I gave her my social card so it's in her hands now.

Just got in from the bar. It was...interesting. Left a little early due to all the obnoxiously drunk straight guys loudly and rudely hitting on everyone. Wonder if they even realized it was a gay bar? I delight in the fact that my friend, the bartender, was in a no bullshit tolerance mood. I should've stuck around a little longer because it's always fun to watch her kick folks outta the bar...lol It was a pretty good night though. I got there early before the crowd hit so she and I chatted and got caught up on gossip since I hadn't been out in a while. :D

Wellllll today I have done very little,the fur kids have been playing like crazy and finaly all tuckerd out then to bed.What I have done is cook a late lunch then I spent most of the day reading a book by Clive Cussler...love those action packed novels of his.Tomorrow im going to do laundry,wash my car,then get back to doing my workouts now that its warm enough to injoy it all.Have a great day folks...night im going to bed.

Enjoyed a glass of wine and chicken parma with angel hair pasta. Chillin with the fur kids.
