I appreciate what ever you can do to help. It is too many pics to wade through and I hate to delete them all--not to mention what a pain deleting that many pics would be.

Can you do me a quick favour and create an album where you want me to put these into?

hi

I created the album but could not figure out how to get pics into it. the album is called Reunion 2012 but it has zero pictures in it.

Hey, just a maybe heads up.

The last few days the pages in forums and gallery have been loading very slowly about 60-70% of the time. At other times I get a message that says database error, maybe 1 in 20. Earlier today I went to the gallery and a couple of the pages would not display thumbnails (cover) and I got an error message from Photopost. It was gone a little while later.

It might just be me, thought I should mention it. I use Safari on OSX, both current.

If it stays this way a few more days I will let you know.

Gemme 11-17-2012 07:10 AM

Oh, I thought the page loading slow thing was on my end, as I have a very old desktop. I haven't had any errors, though. Just the slow loading about half the time and just over the past couple days.

I do recall Medusa posting something a couple days ago about the site having some wonkiness going on, so maybe it correlated.

We've been under attack and swamped by spammers and those trying to break into the forums. This is the kind of DoS (Denial of Service) can cause performance issues. I'm hopeful that things will settle down when they realize that they cannot get anywhere here and will give up on us.

Thanks Linus...I was starting to believe my iPhone was possessed...

Admin 11-17-2012 10:24 AM

Performance has been much better since we closed the registration for a bit.

Linus is on top of this shit, y'all! And I'm glad because these space rats trying to break into our shit don't know who they're fucking with ;) :police:

A quick note of something that just started for me this morning.

The rep comments are not going through, I can bring up and type a comment but not apply it. The thanks button works fine.

Started for me this morning and is still the case this afternoon.

Thanks for all you do. :)

Worked for me just now. What browser are you using? Did you change or update anything recently?

Linus, I have a question that has to do with my system but has nothing to do with the site. The site's running great for me now.

The past couple of days, I've had issues with my computer shutting down and booting me out of everything more and more frequently. I ran CCleaner and Combofix and that seems to have taken care of that problem, in addition to fixing a couple of other things that I didn't know were there.

BUT...and this is big for me....now my speakers do not work. Truthfully, Bessie is on her way out...she's more than 7 years old and cantankerous and I can't load anything newer than XP on her or she freaks.

I tried to do some online searches and fixes to no avail. Whenever you get a moment, if you have an idea of something I could try, I would greatly appreciate it. Music is about the only thing that worked well on my computer and now that's shot, so I would grateful for any suggestions. Thanks!

When was the last time that "Bessie" was opened and the dust/furrkid furr/etc. vacuumed out of her? Sounds somewhat like an overheating issue.

It's been a few months. Okay, so spring clean the mean machine.

That could be all that's keeping the speakers from working? Sweet.

I'll do that when I get home tonight! Thanks.

As an FYI, we prefer requests for name changes to be done here: www.butchfemmeplanet.com/forum/showthread.php?t=519

And Jack is already taken. If you come up with a different name change, post it in that thread and we'll see if we can do it.
