I rolled out of bed (actually out of air mattress...lol)
Took the doglets on a really really long walk Got showered and dressed (a feat that I didn't think I could do today) Packed my car with stuff and doglets Drove home Savored the quiet Arrived home safely Unpacked my car of stuff and doglets Went to the grocer since I had zero provisions in my home Emptied the car and put the groceries away Allowed myself to feel |
Made the bed Vacuumed Phone conversations with my two BFF's in Texas Laundry Relaxed Keeping an eye on our amphibian children, especially Ivan (f) |

mowed dog yard mowed front yard repotted about 30 plants grilled steak and chicken sauted mushrooms cut up black olived diced and cooked taters pealed and cut cucumbers picked up limbs in front yard that's about it until after supper then I'll fix my breakfast |
My wife and I went through all our left over boxes from our last move, and we found clothing that was able to be donated to the Salvation Army.......:)

Came home this morning from my overnight shift at the firehouse. :ambulance:
Stopped and grabbed some breakfast on the way home... Then headed outside and mowed the lawn :lawnmower: took a nap got the mail went back outside and weed whacked showered, went to dinner w/ my boo followed by a quick run to the store on the way home ... and now chilling w/ my new fun stuff |
Stopped and got breakfast went to work this morning stopped at two stores for some quick shopping on the way home now, going to take a nap :alarm: and afterwards, take a shower :bath: and then off to the firehouse in the evening |

cleaned out dog pen and washed it out cut up some more on the tree and hauled it off I took a nap dried a load of clothes mowed part of the little pasture and down to the pole shed and around PJ's grave watered garden fed dogs |
i tried to run an important errand on my day off -- week off actually -- and the office was closed. All the similar offices in the county close at 2pm every day. Gotta love California budget cutting. Not.

I painted all the walls and ceiling of a very big living room, covered myself in paint, drove 4 hrs there and back and now im tucked up in bed tired and a little bit sore..............and i will be at it again tomoro at 7 am driving to finish painting this apartment............

Hella stuff! :hamactor: Started ths morning ~ errand to grab smokes, green hair stuff (to go with mah blue mane) and a new big flamboyant hair doo-ee for the Mrs. Day. :rrose::rainbowAfro::rrose: Posted, played on FB...couple groovy phone calls. :phonegab: Showered ~ grabbed 2 canes, went across the street n lent one to mah Niece...got her in the car and off we went. To the Post Office, back to the Hair Doo-ee place to get the Mrs. 4 more (I picked the red one) and the yellow one made the Mrs Day cry cuz it was a yellow rose like her gramma loved. :rose:<<<pretend it's yellow (not bad, I verklempt'd her for under 10 bucks total). :cheesy: And ~ then off to the grocery store we went. :byebye: Took a pic of party play-doh n sent it to Snowy. :perv: Took another pic of sparkler candles n sent it to Sabra. Took 2 more randoms...off they went to other groovy folks. :koolaid: Went for Tuna, came bag with 2 bags. <<<Overheard :3stooges: Next up ~ make the Mrs. Day lunch for her night shift. Made tabouli salad.
Made garlic n herb hummus. Re-arranged living and bedroom furniture, deep cleaning both rooms in the process. Moved big screen tv back into the living room. Bought fresh fruit and breakfast stuff for the week. Fixed another kitchen cabinet door. |
I searched for an apartment online, even driving by one to visit to see what it looked like
Went to arts & crafts class and painted my project. Did my shopping at Walmart (UGH) and spent $80.03 on less than 20 items; had to buy dog food for my four furkids. Cooked dinner for my family. Took care of my friend who has cancer; made her take Tylenol for a low grade fever. Proof-read and edited a book for someone. I think that's about it... |

I haven't felt entirely 100% today so I've been rather lazy. I loaded and ran and unloaded the dishwasher, washed and dried a load of my work clothes, refilled the bathroom container with hand soap, charged my MP3 player, swept and mopped my kitchen floor (not on purpose...see what I had for dinner thread for explanation), rewiped it again after Ebon made himself a snack in the dark, cooked dinner, checked the mail, took a bag of garbage to the compactor, and verified with the staff that I'm going to be able to use one of the complex's meeting rooms for a training session for work, listened to music, played online and watched the Biggest Loser. Now, I'm going to bed. 'nighty night!

I've had a flu the past few days but I did manage to walk to the greenhouse, water and fertilize plants. Mostly just standing around in my yard looking at all the stuff that has to be done and too tired n sick to do anything about it. I did post an ad for help today. Help today would be so nice

Scrubbed all of the winter dirt n pond grime off of the furniture in the screened patio.
Vacuumed the patio Hung two khaki canvas tarps on one end of the patio for more privacy from da tea party lady next door. :praying: Maybe she will go glare at the neighbor on the other side of her now. Oh yeah, the tarps help to shade my patio nicely, which helps keep my living room cooler.:sunglass: Drug my big ass gas grill out of the storage pen to the back of the house so I can use it. This was a feat in and of itself! It is a stainless grill, but the manufacturer failed to put stainless screws in the damn thing, so the screws have rusted in this humidity. My poor grill fell apart as I drug it across the lawn. Next to do: Buy stainless steel screws. |

I cleaned some today and helped my girlfriend with a connecting the tv to the cable box UGH had to call Fios for help with it but it turned out ok. Then cooked dinner for myself and my girlfriend but she eats late and I eat early!! I think that is it for the day..

Took 40 mins but resolved a customer's bill issue... the associate that took her payments CHARGED them back. Customer was heated and will be closing her account.. but I did resolve the issue at hand =/ One call to credit center, one to corporate, and three discussions with a manager. Oi. Customer did thank me for fixing the $285 payment and complimented me on my patience, said I was 4stars and that I deserve a raise (I know a lot of customers say it, if only our managers listened!)
Had lunch with a co-worker. Explained the QSP program to a couple that was looking to make a $7k purchase.. Informed them if they got all the prices and such from each department, we could submit it to our team and they could receive discounts, and then they could buy it with a consumer card from us and possibly get an additional 5% off. They were absolutely tickled pink with me after that. Helped a co-worker with an SOS return, got an associate to get the customer's correct door ordered, and rang them out while getting them a 20% discount too. Helped a co-worker apply to jobs in other stores so she can have one when she moves. E-mailed my department manager. Sorted the return slips. Cleaned and such. Went through Internet orders and noted which ones had come in and needed customers' notified. Anything I accomplished today was work related. Totally felt like I earned my paycheck halfway through my shift, LOL! |
Work started early for me today. No sooner had I got inside than the customer that would turn out to be an all-dayer popped in. So, at work I did all kinds of fun things, like cleaning spaces and patrolling the grounds, and transferring customers to new spaces, and spending half the day playing tag with our HelpDesk. I wound up cutting my lunch short to spend time with the needy customer and also wound up being a little late when leaving due to him as well. Nice guy...was a professor for 20 years...but he's definitely a talker.
Got gas, got home and cleaned up for our date night dinner out, went out and ate like there was no tomorrow, went to Wally World to pick up a new router and a few other things, came home and got out of our clothes as fast as we could. We're still miserable and it's been 5ish hours since we ate. Of course, I've been dosing myself with lemon water to help flush the sodium I consumed out but still. The belly; it hurts. Whined to Ebon about the belly hurting and he whined back to me about his hurting too. Put away groceries, played online and listend to some music. Ebon's watching his scifi stuff and I'm listening to it in the background too. |
