I remember buying milk out of a milk machine...

WOW maybe that was an regional thing? I do remember when milk came in glass bottles tho...........

possibly... i was always with my father and one of the gas stations he would stop in at had a milk machine.

it was the COLDEST milk i ever had.. and it was a real treat.

Nifty! Some folks waste their money on lottery tickets, but think this is the best vending machine I've seen (unless you count The Church of Elvis in Portland, OR).

Might of been before your time Miss Katz but I remember these..........

A coworker was telling me about taking his daughter to Europe when she was in her teens - perhaps 10 years ago. She needed to call to a room in a hotel and went to use the hotel's phone. She came back to her dad and told him she didn't know how to use the phone. He checked it out, realized it was rotary dial and that she'd never seen one. I felt so old. But at least I don't remember party lines! lol
