Walking out to my car... finding a very clear night sky filled with bright stars and a clear moon with no halo or haze... its a crisp night that makes me feel as if I could swim in the pool of stars... damn! I love living so far out in the country where you can SEE the sky!

My Tummy is Ready!
In September I had my entire abdomen rebuilt due to damage from an emergency surgery the year before. Think tummy tuck on a grand scale. So, I haven't been able to wear my beloved Baby Phats or Zani D's since.
Now and then I have tried but it has hurt the incision line so much, I have to get them off in an hour. Today, I'm on my 6th hour of the jeans and having no problems whatsoever!!!! Heart be still. I'll have to try a belt next. :) PS I may boycott yoga pants for months. |
I do believe it was being oblivious to work drama and the most fabulous kiddos I get to spend time with during reading.

Knowing that my laptop will *finally* get an entirely brand new keyboard, the tension in the house is finally gone (for now) and I will get to spend the day tomorrow with one of my best girl friends from high school :D

Todays interview...
Not too horrible... I only overshared a little bit, over sold myself a wee bit and recognised the EXACT moment when I should shut up... Of course the recognition came in the car AFTER the interview.. All in all not too horrible.. While it would be nice to actually land a full time gig, I'm going to trust that when I'm ready it will happen. I'm not going to obsess over being less than perfect.. |
- seeing my son SO excited to start a new school tomorrow.. a fresh new start, so he can pull himself together, i believe in him!
- One Year Anniversary for Mtn & i today, spending the evening with great conversation, sharing about the day we first started talking and how it all came about ... peach sorbet *smiles* - my daughter rekindling a friendship with someone she's missed..a great deal. - getting home to my Daddy tonight after a long couple of days of work! - bellydancing class tomorrow night! - making lists - what will i pack?? Oregon SOON! ♥ - Our friendships, Our families, Mtn getting special time with His daughter Thursday, & His granddaughter.. *big smiles* - love in the air around the Planet, reading the loving posts, brings me big smiles.. i love LOVE ♥ |

Facebook messages from my son ~ He has left Afghanistan! He is somewhere between Afghanistan and Russia, he said he can't tell me where. He did say his stay in Russia would not be long and from there he will go to Germany and from Germany, home :heartbeat: I can not even begin to express how excited and relieved I am that he is Out. Not too horrible interview turned into a not so horrible job offer..
I'm pretty sure my boss at the temp agency didn't send anyone else.. Grin... while once upon a time I would have HATED the fact that I didn't beat out two hundred other people for a job, now? ehh I'm rather glad for the lack of competition... I'm pretty happy... It's a small job with a small company with the possiblitity of more responsibility down the line.. Just what I need... It made me smile and do a little skip.. Also... Mom is back in the hospital, BUT it's only a touch of pneumonia... Big Smile... she sounds good.. coughing is shallow, breathing sounds normal.. Her O2 is at 97 resting and 84 after moderate activitity... Smiles all around... |
