Volunteers and nurses at nursing homes, assit. living facilities, and vet. homes.

The people who nurse the sick.

The people who feed the hungry.

The people who love to teach the handicapped.

I am humbled by......

* those who are helping the animals who are hurting with the BP Oil Spill in the Gulf; :rrose:

* those who are helping the victims of the BP nightmare; :rrose:

* my breast cancer doctor.

I am humbled by the newcomers and those re-introducing themselves, in the halls of AA. In their pain and suffering, I see where I once was and how hard it was to come back...and in their struggle, I see their courage and strength and know that somehow the hand of god as we understand him, was there for me and there for them,...

Im humbled by life it self,just when u think u have handled all u can the sun shines and the birds sing to give me strength for what ever I have to face..earths wisdom.

I am humbled by people who can smile through pain, who can find joy and wonder in life even while battling illness. I am humbled by my patients who endure more than I ever could, and yet still pat me on the hand, smile, and say "Its not that bad." :)

I am humbled by...

:praying: The spirit of perserverence and ability to survive of some of the youngest, most under-priveleged homeless youth.
:praying: I am honoured to serve them any way I can.

I am humbled by people that utilize their history of unjust treatment to try and bridge conflict among us and contribute to moving us to a more compassionate state of being.

I am humbled by the struggles I see at work daily.

I am humbled by Mom's phone call earlier.

I am humbled by the level of submission shown to me daily.

Genocide Survivors....people who have not given up on hope or love......even though everything in them has been taken.....I have been humbled in the presence of some genocide survivors and ive always thought to myself---where does that forgiveness come from?---

yeah forgiveness and mercy are humbling to me....

~ I am humbled by the Planet, which inhabits so many wonderful members who are simply themselves no matter what the world throws at them

~ I am humbled by My sweet little sister, who despite having autism is the sweetest thing in the world and gives love freely no matter who the other person may be or their faults/imperfections

~ I am humbled by My mom who, despite all that the world throws at her daily, still loves and cares for her family in the best way that she can

~ I am humbled by My fellow FTM brothers who have matched their outsides to their insides, becoming the men that they always were and giving Me the courage to do the same

~ I am humbled by My bro, Andrew, who despite all that he has been dealt with in his life finds compassion in his heart daily and gives it freely to others. He has always been there for Me, reaching out to Me when I needed a friend and is always true to himself no matter what ........ he humbles Me on a daily basis, and I'm proud to call him My bro :)
