Some favorite areas of the state of Washington that I enjoy visiting is..... Snoqualmie Falls, Mercer Island, Bainbridge Island, Seattle neighborhood's, and closer to home, I like visiting friend's across the Columbia who live in Vancouver or over in Longview. I also like that Washington state seems to be progressive and inclusive by nature to members of the LGBTQ community. Plus, it is simply beautiful, even out on the Palouse.

I like that I have two really good friends there! I love crossing the sound on that big bridge to Whidby Island, taking ferries and just the quaintness of the little costal towns.

I live in Cowlitz county. I love that the fishing is fantastic and the property taxes are low.

I've only vacationed there and would love to live there. I loved how green it was... trees... trees and more trees! I don't mind the rain and love the cooler temps. :koolaid:

Hempfest: It's usually held in August. I go almost every year, but didn't go last year and can't go this year. I love getting a new hemp dress and shopping the vendor tables and the music lineup. :)

I have a few favorite places in Washington... today, I am thinking about how much I love sitting by Lake Quinault and listening to the sounds of solitude that are so loud there.
