So, anyone who knows me knows that I believe if you can't do it with a swiss army knife then you don't need to do it. I've got 91 of them (and 1 ordered). I've always got 2 or 3 on me and they get used every single day.

Hey I'mOneToo! I so agree with you! The nice thing is that they're easy to replace. And hey, then you'd have an excuse to buy another one!

Hey Tommi!
If you haven't tried oiling it that might help. Another option is that swiss army guarantees their knives for life. Any thing wrong, including stuff like broken blades from extreme use, they fix for no charge. All you pay is the postage to get it there, they cover postage back to you. Let me know if you want me to track down that info. By the way, what model do you have?

I have hardwood floor that breed dust over night , and of course there are the two fuzzy furpurrs that fly around the house.

Does anyone have one? Know someone that has one? It might drive my two cats up the their cat trees all day though.

I DO Want that hammer...

I had one of those vacuums. notice the word had. My puppy decided it was something to attack and kill. And kill it she did LOL

Everyone who ever wanted to be Batman needs one of those grappling hooks *eyebrow waggle* Gryph was practically salivating--I didn't dare play the video! lol!

ah Warrick this knife has *sentimental value* a gift from someone, and if it was lost another wouldn't be the same.
(but I'd still need another one!)

It's easy to operate Tommi, just pull on the side where the little dips are. Unless it's a full-size unit, that I can't help you with. The oil, yeah, what Warrick said.

Why not just attach sis to the back of the lawnmower and send her bobbing for lil green apples??:happyjump::happyjump::happyjump:They'd be doing <<<<that and you would have a helluva view:D HEH! One of my fave tools is my BuckLite knife my father gave me the day I joined the Army. I have lost a lot of things along the way,but I have carried that knife day in,day out for 24 years now. I have used it for everything from eating, car repairs, door opening, etc and would be at a loss without it! One of my favorite tools for most mechanic type work is GearWrenchs, open end/box end combo with a ratchet in the box end. Awesome for working on cars where you ain't got enuff room to fit a conventional ratchet. Anddddddd.......my dream tool....my own Iron Man suit!!Shad

Hi I'mOneToo,

I do understand about sentimental value. Most of the knives in my collection could be replaced, but, similar to you, there are a few that couldn't be.But ah, I do love my knives!

Wow, and I thought I was long-winded...

Seriously though, true story. My girlfriend and I were going to a fundraiser event that formal, so we were all dressed to the 9s. We're walking toward the building and the other femme (not my girlfriend) stumbles and loses her shoe. One of the straps had torn from the sole. Swiss army knife to the rescue! I pulled out my pin and repaired her show. Truly she had to cautious as it certainly wasn't a permanent fix but it got her through the night!

gentle leader

I dont know if I would call it a gadget but I call it sent from the heavens LOL
As some of you may know, I have a huge french mastiff puppy and her days of dragging me where ever she wanted are over LOL

Its been a long time since a walk was enjoyable. It stopped being enjoyable right around the time she hit 75 LBs. she would get this look on her face and I knew what was coming. just taking off from a dead stop to a full run. there goes arwen, followed shortly by me sideways LOL

But thanks to the ever wonderful Miss Christie, who highly recommended it. I bought one and now I am back in control of this monster. She hates it that I can stop her in her tracks LOL but there was very little struggle to get her to wear it and has settled in nicely to it.

so thanks Miss christie from my back, arms, legs and everything in between LOL
