One thing I find interesting is that while I can still get my favorite coffee from San Francisco even though I live 700 miles away now, it's $4 per pound cheaper here.
The other thing is that on practically every corner here there is a "Dutch Brothers" coffee joint. I'd never heard of them but there is always a line up for it. I saw a 'menu' and it seems to be the usually sugary drinks kind of thing which isn't my thing so I've never been. There are some local roasters I've looked up, so I'll give them a try now that the colder weather is on the horizon. :coffee: |
I gave been drinking Starbucks coffee for nearly 20 years. Here are my favorite blends:
1. French Roast-caramely and smokey flavor ❤️❤️ 2. Guatemala Antigua-my favorite for the fall. Has layers of chocolate and spice flavors. 3. Christmas Espresso Blend 4. Anniversary Blend When I get a chance to visit a reserve store with a Clover Machine: 1. Brazil Bourbon Blend 2. Colombia and 3. Ethiopia I am still learning about the Reserve Coffees. Zimmeh |
My favorite every-day coffee is Peets French Roast. I order a couple of one pound bags each month and have it delivered so I never run out.
I make it in a drip coffee maker or a French press. My absolute favorite, which I treat myself- maybe once per year- is Peets Kona coffee. It is real, genuine Kona coffee (with a price to match, hence the once a year). Love it. Coffee ready right now! :tea: <<< pretend it is a coffee pot! |
columbian mountain grown coffee yum
really good coffee made with boiling water in my brewer, I like it really hot. Cold iced tea yum, brewed and sugar and tons of lemon in it. The best.

Salt oh yes
I always shake a little salt in my coffee before brewing, takes any bitterness out of any coffee you brew.

Coffee is Coffee
If I have to go to the dollar store and buy the instant jar stuff (btw, done it) i'll do it!..just give me the caffeinated coffee!!..black,no sugar,no cream :bringcoffee:
I hardly drink tea, only if I run out of coffee i'll drink a cup :overreaction: |
I love a cup of organic English Breakfast tea to start the day. =)

I used to like having coffee every morning, but I've been scaling back on coffee. I might have a cup of coffee twice a week or less and when I have coffee, I make it using a Swedish ceramic coffee cone.
I prefer herbal tea. Lately, I've been enjoying a blend of herbal tea which consists of an organic mixture of camomile, rose petals and buds of dried English lavender. It's soothing and delicious. I like using honey to sweeten a cup of tea. |

Today is a good day for chai....feeling fallie, want some spice and everything nice... |
When I am out and about I drink iced coffee from Starbucks. Usually an Iced Toasted Graham Latte or Iced Vanilla Latte.
When christmas come they have a Chestnut Praline that is delish. Their christmas blend is also amazing. OR vietnamese iced. At home, I prefer 8'Oclock coffee or Seattle's Best #4. |
The best coffee I've ever had was at a casino in Las Vegas, oddly enough. I tried my best to get them to sell me a pound, but they wouldn't do it.
I normally drink Yuban regular or Yuban Pacific Roast. I also like Don Francisco's or Cafe Bustelo's espresso. I enjoy hot tea when it gets cooler, found a great bulk loose tea website: http://www.herbco.com/ |
I drink organic low-acid coffee. No more than 1 cup a day maxiumum (and many days I don't even drink it).
I have many herbal teas, but my favorite is in cold weather, I enjoy chai tea with almond miik & stevia. It's about as yummy as chocolate! Deborah |
Coffee and Tea...
I don't drink coffee often but when I do I add a little bit of salt to my coffee grinds before brewing. I also add almond milk and sugar to sweeten.
I have several different herbal teas that I enjoy but as of late lemon has been a favourite. |

I like coffee french pressed and have two but am wanting to start drinking tea again. I like my coffee with cream and tea with nothing, and I like both hot and cold coffee and tea. Growing up my dad would sometimes make breakfast on the weekend. He would always include coffee and boil the coffee grounds in a pot. He'd let me have some and he'd serve it to me black with sugar. He said this was the way hobos made and drank coffee (for awhile he was a train-riding hobo tryna make his way up north). I used to love that coffee. That's only time I'd have sugar in it. |
