If gayla knocked on my door right now, I'd grab her in the biggest hug EVAH then head for Salt Lick. From there we'd go to the Green Mesquite and then end up at Iron Works BBQ. Of course, we'd have to do Kreutz, Chisolm Trail and Smitty's in Lockhart. I hope you're hungry.

Breaking Format, Cuz I Just Gotta
If I knocked on Arwen's door today, she better hug me big and haul me all the way to Lockhart for BBQ. Of course, we'd stop on the way for a cheery limeade. I'd make her drive back via Creedmore and I'd tell her who lived in every house we saw along the way. We might have to stop and say hey to a couple of people if they saw me and then I'd show her where I flipped my bike when I was 11 and got the big scar on my forehead. Then she better have gathered the crew for more hugs and more food and a beer or two. After all that, I think we'd sit by the pool and talk until we couldn't anymore. There would be sleep at some point and then some hand holding through a very special something on Saturday morning. Some where in there would be more BBQ and her trying to convince me I didn't have to leave and me almost believing her. Until I checked the weather and realized it was 64 and rainy at home. <3

if gayla and arwen had any sense, they'd head west. when they knocked at my door i'd take them everywhere from the hearst castle to the local wineries..to the beautiful beaches.
i would introduce them to tri-tip which is only good here in central ca. i would have the arwen push my wheelchair up hill, but gayla push it down hill cuz i know the arwen may get distracted and let go, sending me to my perilous death. |

If T country showed up at my door I would hug and squeeze him forever because he was sending me hugs when I was so down! I would lead him in and let him bask in my soft, warm, inviting LR and DR that is newly decorated for Christmas, offer him a cuppa eggnog and a plate of freshly baked sugarcookies I worked on today.
