I did my partying on Saturday night. It was a deliciously devilish!

For tonight I've decorated the porch, placed a pumpkin by the front door and will hand out a ton of disgustingly gruesome sugar eyeballs, jelly spiders, fizzy vampire teeth and lollies that turn the tongue black to the trick or treaters that call.

At the last minute, I picked The Mad Hatter for the Athens Hallowe'en Party...
Apparently a good choice, seems every Queen of Hearts (men & women) Alice, or White Rabbit wanted a pic. I took a few of 'em also, never thought I'd see a sensual Queen of Hearts at one point, (Very cold outside, btw. 'Twas the nite b4 snowstorms galore.)
Plenty 'carnival' foods...yum, funnel cake.
I'm still scraping off gold/orange Glitter, though...~grrrr

Rocky Horror did a a 21st Anniversary tour throughout the UK in '94. I flew over to celebrate my friends birthday - I wore the Corset, stockings and suspenders and sang along to ALL the songs. It was a freezing cold night and I got many offers for help to keep warm, unfortunately from the opposite sex, lol!

The party on Saturday, I went as Pierrot the Mime. I've got ceramic Pumpkins ready with skull candles and sweeties, if anyone would like some? LOL!

This year I dressed up as a sexy vampire..usually I do something funny or scary. I am a tomboy to the fullest so being sexy for a night was quite fun. May do it again next year. I dressed my dog up as Spiderman. :)

I so love Halloween. I dress up at work even though no one else does. Giggles. This year I dressed in military stuff. With my toy gun and had on a camo hat and went out and just got everyone around there laughing including all the people that came in. Ok as a femme I don't make a good soldier LOL but fun fun fun!

I can't stand :seeingstars: the doorbell ringing :seeingstars: and the dogs barking :seeingstars: on Halloween (I have 4 big indoor dogs)! It triggers my PTSD...BAD because of the Sudden loud noises. So I took the dogs outside to the backyard and waited until the candy ran out so we could turn off our light. Then we put up an "Out of candy" sign to help keep down on the number of kids ignoring the light rule. You do what you gotta do. :eatinghersheybar:

Took my kids and some other people's kids to the halloween carnival down the street and then some good ol' fashioned door to door trick or treating.

Drove to Canada and walked around a quiet old graveyard for an hour or so before heading to Fort George for a fantastic ghost tour.

Then, I came home and looked over some of my pictures. Whatcha think of this one?

This isn't a joke, I still have the original picture in my phone and the second one is simply cropped, no other edits. So, who is the woman dressed for Halloween?

willow 11-01-2011 02:28 AM

Lights off, candles blown out and doors locked at 9pm. All the little spookettes (love that, Rockinonahigh :)) should be in bed by then.

No tempting left overs. I made sure the last 3 kids took it all!

Already thinking about next years costume. Heeee....

I just spent the last fue minits looking this over...looks like someone wearing a black cape posssably with another object right behind it over the right shoulder..good pic,not gonna say it is or not but definatly intresting.

ButchEire 11-01-2011 08:58 PM

Well, there's a gravestone to the right and if you bring the picture up even closer, the figure is transparent, which is why you see things behind it. Oh, and well, it's floating.

We typically go to Salem, MA for a day or overnight. It's only 2 hrs away and there's SO much to do and see. Last time, I took a cemetary tour....I'd LOVE to be there at night and do the candelit tour :)

jac 09-10-2012 07:33 PM

I didn't go out last Halloween but my cousin came to town and went to karaoke in my honor.... You can go to my gallary to see hym!! :D

Leigh 09-10-2012 07:54 PM

I have to figure that out this year, no ideas yet ;)

LaneyDoll 09-10-2012 08:22 PM

Halloween fun on Halloween evening is reserved for my kids-unless they are with their dad. I generally do an easy costume (vamp anyone?) for the time we share.

When I hang out with my friends, I dress more elaborately. Last year, I was a geisha at one party (for the fundraiser I run), a Mardi Gras queen at another and an Underworld-inspired vampire at another. By Underworld-inspired I do not mean black, leather, vampire warrior but the lush, decadent vampire of the movie.

This year, I have no idea. I need something easy for the fundraiser since I am busy, busy, busy but I am not sure if I want to recycle any of those looks.

:sparklyheart:
