Exercise is what I really need to spend more time doing if I am honest about it. 19. What issues do you continually refuse to confront? Wow! Not sure. A year ago I could have said my health because I was smoking and was not eating well. It really upsets me that people feel the need to lie, steal, and deliberately hurt others. 21. What’s a common misconception people have about you? A common misconception that people have about me is that I do not let go of the past. I really disagree with that because our past is who shapes us into the persons we are today. There is a big difference from living in the past and recognizing how that causes our actions and reactions of today. I AM however very totally self-aware. 22. What’s something no one can take away from you? My thoughts, beliefs, feelings and education are all things nobody can take away from me. 23. What is something that you would hate to go without for a day? This may sound very immature of me, but at this juncture of my life and having had my parents for so many years I would hate to go a day without them in my life. I can truly overcome all obstacles and be the best Me I can be. 30. What do you want to remember forever? Love and to be loved and to remember how that felt. 31. What could society do without? I honestly think technology has been society’s biggest downfall because it has led people to lose a sense of community. People truly don’t give a damn about others anymore….that is said rather loose tongue in cheek because I know some people do but the overall lack of community sucks. 32. That is not something I am proud of and it was definitely a learning experience since she died before I had a chance to make amends. 35. At a younger age those things meant everything to me. Today they mean nothing because they are just things. 36. What didn’t last forever, but was still worth your while? Past relationships regardless of how they ended. They were all worth it because at one time it was what I valued and wanted. In the end they became learning experiences who shaped who I am today. 37. I would tell those who meant the most to me that I loved them and ask them to please allow themselves to be happy with their remaining time. 39. The natural beauty of where I have lived for the past 20+ years: The trees, the rivers, the mountains, the basalt lined Columbia Gorge, the waterfalls or natural hot springs, the coastline of the Pacific Northwest, the climate - pearly gray skyscapes or intermittent days of dazzling sunshine, the eclectic community within the greater area of where I currently live.10) In one year from today, how do you think your life will be different? The one thing I have learned over time is that even with the best laid plans, there's the possibility that life a year from now could be as good or even better; but certainly and hopefully, no worse than today.11) Who makes you feel good about yourself? Me: I actively take care of myself (I value myself entirely).12) What are the top three qualities you look for in a friend? Kindheartedness, a compassion-based perspective, sensitivity13) What has fear of failure stopped you from doing? Fear of failure has never been a driving force in my life - I'm not afraid of failure or failing anything I put my mind to. I don't think much of anything stops me from developing my own brand of success (if that's what we're talking about).14) What is something you have always wanted since you were a kid? I think it's important to let my own inner child out to play on a consistent basis because even as a child, I was filled with wonder, curiosity -- I lived for 'show and tell' moments in life, as a child. :)15) What stands between you and what you want? :blush:16) What do you do when nothing else seems to make you happy? I play the 'happy' game and do something that makes me happy.17) When did you first realize that life is short? This might seem strange to most, but I feel that I've always had an inner knowing about life never being long enough or filled with enough time to do things in life and consequently, as I've aged, I tend to sense timing issues much more intensely - than say, compared to, maybe five years ago.18) What do you need to spend more time doing? :blush:19) What issues do you continually refuse to confront? n/a20) What’s something a lot of people do that you disagree with? n/a21) What’s a common misconception people have about you? I'll get back to you on that. :blush:31) What could society do without? I should think that humans could use a bit more love and understanding.32) What is one thing right now, that you are totally sure of? My feeling is that if I spend as much energy as possible in taking care of me and living life as responsibly as possible, then living by example is probably going to be the best heard message than anything I could ever say.34) What’s something you said you’d never do, but have since done? n/a35) What’s something you changed your mind about when you grew older? Marriage. I used to think that marriage mattered and it does to a degree (although that's a small degree).
