Retro or Retrogrades?

Hard to tell because we do call bad things into our lives by our ideas, I think. If you think negative thoughts, negativity finds a roosting spot and then spreads.

So...it's a balance. I know for myself that Mercury Rx always does fun things in terms of how I can communicate with other people. Working in the tech world where I have to talk/type to folks, it's a real bear!

But, as a writer, it's great energy for editing and reworking stories. It's perfect for poring over every critical little detail. I use it as a reminder to slow down and pay attention to the fine print in all things.

So use the information for what you will but don't discount the power of suggestion!

It's one of the way a good con artist psychic can take you to the cleaners in a heartbeat. :soapbox::rant:

And that's one of my biggest pet peeves in the psychic world. :)

I am not an astrologist. However, I do ceremony at the full and new moon. I do recognize the influence of the building energy the week before the full moon. Tend to cause emotional peaks and valleys for myself and others. female energy seems to be most affected the first 3 days of the week preceding; male energy the last 2days. I have noticed for myself there are some full moons that tend to be more intense than others. Blue moons tend to emit more energy than others.

The energy shift at the new is gentler. It seems to fulfill it cermonial purpose of personal goal setting.

I am an intuitant. However, I don't do readings unless it is for a personal enhancement purposeor an emergency. I do agree with you that psychics are more acute in picking up body language cues than most people. I have seen intuitants lose their gift when their greed and/or ego overtook them. Because the gift is 'spiritual', to use it for profit brings it into the 'physical' level which lessens the 'spiritual connection'.

I am sure that the energy of other planets within our solar system aso have effect on us and our Earth. :tarot::deal:

Problem solved.
Speak to no one and keep shopping until the 15th.
Oh, and a matching hat would be nice. :)
I like to keep it coordinated, ya' know?

Understood, cap'n. :fireman:

Here we go again, y'all. Merc went Rx (Retrograde) today and will be that way for a lovely three weeks.

Are you ready for some eff-ups?

Martina 04-18-2010 07:06 PM

i already had a bad one -- profession related. Hopefully it will get cleared up tomorrow. WTF? Every time this happens my life goes to SHIT. i don't even believe in astrology, yet it's uncanny.

Gemme 04-18-2010 07:08 PM

True story: Two seconds before seeing your post, I had a guest come back to me.

"There's something wrong with my key," he says.

"Here we go," I think.

Apparently, my 5s look like 2s.

*deep breath*

*exhale*

Thankfully, it was not a technical issue....this time.

Arwen 04-18-2010 07:30 PM

It's upping my cranky factor a lot. This one is in Aries for a bit and then solidly in Taurus so that will be interesting.

WolfyOne 04-18-2010 07:46 PM

This is why the vacuum decided to blow out instead of sucking in when I went to use it earlier.
Of course I was able to fix it, but dayyyuuummmm, I shouldn't of had to.

Um... I'm doing fine all by myself without Merc throwing it in retro. Sheesh. :eatinghersheybar:

Arwen 04-18-2010 08:12 PM

Two things.

Wolfy, the fact that things were blowing instead of sucking around you sounds like a personal problem to me.

Sybelle, tell me about it. OY!:mob:

The fact that I had to read Diva's post FIVE times before I got it should tell you a bit about how much MerRx messes with me. :rabbi:

Lynn 04-18-2010 08:46 PM

About three days ago, I started to feel really grumpy. I'm not usually grumpy at all. I have been even more tired than usual. Stringing words together to make a coherent sentence is a challenge. And on and on. Is it Mercury in Retrograde? I was thinking I needed more Vitamin D! Seriously. :)

I hear you. I was taught to carry cinnamon with me during Mercury Rx. Cinnamon is sacred to Mercury so it pleases Him and He might let you off the hook a bit. :)

No, I think your vacuum situation was the result of a square between Saturn and it's dust particles. *smile* According to that transit and your birth information, it appears it only happened to you.

Sorry man.

;)

betenoire 04-20-2010 03:31 AM

I'm just not feeling this whole Mercury in retrograde thing - everything seems like business as usual to me.

Question. Since I'm a Gemini and Mercury is, you know, OURS - Am I in retrograde? I don't feel like I am in retrograde.

I DO, however, feel like the world is full of crybaby princesspantses who aren't happy unless they are surrounded by 81 cheerleaders, a pastry chef, a therapist, and a life coach.

Fuck that.

Snort. This Mer Rx is making me think the whole world just got 50% stupider. So I guess my best answer is that if you don't think you are affected, maybe you aren't.

However, I would point out that your perception of other people's communication skills as "crybaby princesspantses" might be because of Mercury RX.

I think it's funny that folks feel a need to point out that they don't believe in this too. Really amuses me. :)

Now where is my pastry chef? I'm all over that bad boy.

No,honestly. I always think the world is full of crybaby princesspantses. Because it just freaking IS.

I like astrology, that's no secret. Just last week I was explaining to a friend of mine that she needed to hurry up and have her baby STAT because she was in grave danger of having a Taurus. She did not listen to me. Now she is going to have a Taurus. Ugh.

I married a Taurus, so if we could keep my general distaste for Tauruses (Taureans? Taurusonians?) between me, you, and the rest of the internets you'll save me a lot of trouble. Seriously.

Gemme 04-20-2010 07:39 PM

Retrograde. I'm in it.

The shit that didn't work for me for months now works just dandy, thankyouverymuch.

The shit that worked fine before is working fine with the occasional WTF glitch that shuts all operations down for a few minutes or is completely screwy.

The people. They are screwy. Then AND now.

Andrew, Jr. 04-21-2010 12:07 PM

Ahh Gemme, honey, are you just realizing that people are screwy now or what?

LOL a person is not just one sign. That's only 1/12th of their chart. :) Me, myself and I? I adore Taurus folks. My BFF (for the past 33 years) is a Taurus.

I could make a case (especially in cranky Mercury Rx in Taurus) as to why I don't like any sign. :D

Random 04-22-2010 09:48 AM

Hmm wonder if I can blame the retrograde for the reapperance of my rage...

Sigh.. back to the ommmming and the belly button gazing...

Miss Scarlett 04-22-2010 08:32 PM

No. It's just because people -really- are that annoying. :) I promise it's not you - it's everybody else.

(That's how -real- friends behave, right? Just blindly agree with everything you do and say because to not do that would be all unsupportive and SHAME SHAME SHAME and would result in histrionics?)

June is gonna come in here and safeword me now, I can feel it.

No, no, no! Don't bring it!

It's already been brought.

My "play" computer at work crashed last night at 8pm PST as I was posting something. I'm hoping and praying that, if they got it up and running today, that my email and this site didn't come back up with it.

No worries. Apparently, I do a lovely impression of Olga, the German Shepherd that makes my coworker laugh. *grin*

This round of MerRx (I don't like this nickname since it looks like medicine with the Rx but it surely doesn't FEEL like medicine...it lies like a cheap rug!) has really thrown me for a loop. Usually, it's one or two things but I've had consistent technological issues since even before this thing officially kicked in.

What can I say? I'm an overachiever.

Arwen 05-04-2010 08:53 PM

That MerRx kicked my traveling rear this past week. The trip to Columbus took 24 hours due to a stop at the Elizabethtown, KY ER and then a roadside chat with a tow truck at about 2am on 41N (31 miles south of Cincinnati.)

NO MAS!

SuperFemme 05-04-2010 09:32 PM

May the 4th be with you.
