Thanks to the new Google commercial, and the info that National Coming Out Day is Oct. 11th this year, I realized its been 10 years since I officially came out.

Funny how it seemed like such a big deal then. And now its just just part of me.

I am the same way, it seemed like a big deal back then but now it's not!

The most perfect night ever to go sit by the water! Why did I not think of this earlier? Sometimes I believe I did too many drugs as a young woman - my synapses fire on a slight delay.

Also, my neighborhood looks like either a parade or a drive-by shooting is about to happen. lol, I haven't decided which yet.

Heavy, very slow traffic tonight and I live on a fairly obscure side street...
Okay, I must get to the water now.

Goodnight, everyone! Pleasant dreams.

gotoseagrl 05-13-2015 08:28 PM

:shocking: :whine:

Well now i have you and Tierney to thank for the last few songs that got stuck in my head! Before this one that is ... sweet dreams tonight, hehe.

Like Gemme said, you replace it with another song and then you replace that one with another song, etc etc etc!:|

JDeere 05-13-2015 11:38 PM

How much I replay this song, I can't stop listening to it! That is my random thought!

My dreams are always a bit on the demented and convoluted side of things, so this fits right in.

JDeere's right; there's no end to the madness.

I present exhibit 1 to you:

And exhibit 2:

I actually really like exhibit 2. I'm confused by exhibit 1 and wonder WHY. Just why.

Fyi.... there is a hour long version of this song on YouTube. How do I know? I started the song when I got in the shower and it was still playing when I got out, and continued on. I went wth? Yeah, talk about not leaving your head.

Pssst... but it has special kissing factors in the kitchen, just saying.

I like my toes, too, but I think I'm the only one who does, since my 2nd toe is longer than my big toe. :D

My 2nd toe is longer, too. I've always heard that means you have a bigger sex drive. Lol :innocent:

Gemme 06-01-2015 07:00 PM

It's called Morton's toe.

There is no mention of sex drive. I must have missed that article.

I have literally been on the go since before Labor Day weekend, but I have taken steps to change my career. I enlisted with a well respected temp agency before the holiday and tomorrow, before my usual long day at work, I return to take more tests, then wait for them to pair me off with potential employers (gov. agencies).

Right now, though, I'm working on some laundry, got the dishes on to wash, and checking off items on my list in preparation for quiet time this weekend.

I was thinking about trying to get a last minute appointment for a massage or maybe go to the community pool and either float or swim or definitely take in some time at the hydrotherapy pool.

Mostly, just rest and pamper my tired soul. :stillheart:

I really hate instant potatoes...but

Today I'm craving them for some reason

Gayandgray 05-10-2016 09:46 PM

Sometimes I crave the cereal I ate as a kid: King Vitamin, Quisp, Product 19.

If I was smart, I'd get offline and would go into the office earlier than usual.

I've never heard of any of those...where all did you grow up??

I also crave my childhood cereals at times, but when I get them they don't taste nearly the same...

I grew up in Pennsylvania.

Product 19 is similar to Special K, I think. I remember seeing King Vitamin but I never ate it. Quisp was alien cereal in the shape of saucers. The alien reminded me of Q*bert.

It's a combination of your taste buds changing, which happens in your 30s and again somewhere between 50-60ish and the companies changing their formulas to meet current standards.

I can't even tell you how disappointed I was when I tried the Monster cereals as an adult (Boo Berry and Franken Berry for those that don't know what I'm talking about). Lucky Charms still taste okay. Not as good as then but not as bad as most of the others.

Oops I think I forgot to go to a graduation ceremony yesterday, but in my defense the kid caught me off guard when she asked a few days ago , I have only been her boss for a couple months now so I barely know her, dang I feel bad about it. I think it was hard for her to ask in the first place.

So the cows leave the barn. They have their routine of the pasture, hitting all their fav spots before the sun goes down. They head back to the barn for the evening.

So tomorrow the eclipse shows up, they panic. They all run back to the barn, their routine is interrupted. By the time they get there, the sun comes back...

Oops, just kidding...lol

I wonder if that will happen?
