Sobe Life Water

I'm loving SOBE Life water "acai berry punch" flavor. I never drink enough water, whether it's bottled, etc.

My honey decides to bring this life water home and told me to taste it. Of course I turned my nose up with the thought of this stuff. :hrmph:

When I took my first sip it, man was it good. :cheer:

I initially thought it would leave a nasty after taste. Not the case, it's delicious. Over the last couple of days, I must have consumed about 5 bottles.

Highly recommended

Chi hairdryer!

It used to take my hair like 45 minutes to blow dry, now it takes 5.

My Chi flat iron is HEAVEN! Like you, it took me forever to straighten my (kinky, wavy, wacked out) hair. Now, one or two passes and I'm DONE with that section. It's super hot crack for the hair, I tell you.

Divine!!!

Currently madly deeply truly into our Dyson Animal vacuum cleaner. Makes the old one look like an amateur.

Second place is the remote control for the outdoor Christmas lights. No more wet pj bottoms from sloshing through the snow to turn off the lights fore bed.

something to keep in my luggage...

Okay, I was a bit skeptical, but...

Starbucks VIA (Ready Brew), an instant coffee in small, convenient on-the-go packets. It actually isn't too bad; I wouldn't use it instead of my 'regular' choices, but I think I may have found a life-savor when it comes to that darn-awful coffee in most hotel rooms & those pinches when Starbucks is nowhere to be found! :ohm:

Lash Doubling Mascara by Clinique - I have this as a sample. My Daddy had got me a Clinique lotion or something and I got a gift bag that included this mascara and it is the best mascara ever. It makes my eyelashes so long and full AND it doesn't flake or feel sticky. love love love it. and I own like 2342342342 mascaras so I know my stuff!

and also

Dunkin Donuts Iced Coffee
w/cream and splenda = great product!

Yes! My honey got one several month back and we made smoothies and iced coffee drinks until it got too darn cold for icy drinks. It was fabulous, easy, and easy to clean. I am considering getting one of my own. :canadian:

I also love those Magic Whatsis thingies. They're great for scuff marks and stuff.

My fave product right now is Nokia phones. They're just so much more reliable and full-featured compared to everything else I come across.

Favorite Things That I LOVE!

1. Teavana SnowGeisha white tea. Probably the most decadent, spicy, rosey, original tea I have ever drank. A perfect soft pink color in the cup and an explosive aroma and flavor.

2. Palmer's Shea Butter- It's simple and GREAT for the feet and heels. Really nice smell and absorbs nicely. Butter soft feet in a day or two.

3. Private Reserve Ink - Jack and I use this in our fountain pens. Nice fluidity, doesnt clump, lots and lots and lots of colors.

I have a LOT more :)

Dean Thoreau 01-14-2010 08:13 PM

i agree with the palmer's shea butter medusa.. ..its wonderful....and it appeals to my natural inclination to be frugal....my kids grew up using it...better than all the lubriderms in the world to get rid of the ashiness....

I know the ads are kind of silly and even tho it really is mostly a lot of hype and something smelly..I love "ActivOn" when i have joint aches or muscle aches...i think it is the fact that it is a "stick kind of thing" and u end up massaging when u rub it on..but i dont care...7.99 and it lasts me for a good 6 months and my hip doesnt hurt for a good 10 hours after I use it....and it doesnt make icky grease stains on your shirts or clothes or sheets.... :cheer:

Chrome by google

Free yourselves from the slowpokes (Explorer, Firefox, et al)! I just increased my online speed by light years simply by downloading google's browser, Chrome -- for free. I heard about it a long time ago, but after reading another article in Time a couple of weeks ago, I decided to finally give it a whirl.

I'm sorry it took me so long since I'm now breezing around the Net with so much less waiting. :flying: Try it.

so much Net, so little time... :bolt:

My new fave thing is Clinique Quick Eyes Cream Shadow. It goes on smoothly and doesn't crease up (ok, after 6 hours in the Austin heat it does...). It's the best I've tried.

Mrs. Strutt 01-26-2010 08:33 PM

Suave Naturals conditioners: for $1.19, they beat the pants off any $20 or $30 salon conditioner out there (as long as you know the right one to pick for your hair).

Oooooooooh my. Do I EVER have a new favorite!

I have recently become a tea-fanatic and have been trying various teas over the last few months.

I just found a new (cheap) favorite:

Celestial Seasonings Black Cherry Berry! A nice herbal tea that actually still has a TEA taste with a nice hint of cherry. NOT overpowered with apple or other fruits. Beautiful in the cup and certainly pocketbook-friendly :)

I loveLOVE Celestial Seasonings teas! My kiddo likes their "Sleepytime" tea with lots of milk at bed time.

Jett 02-12-2010 01:44 PM

A cereal that actually stays unbelievably crispy in milk (soymilk in my case) even if you eat your eggs and toast first.

Trader Joes Toasted Oatmeal Flakes... they taste/look just like bran flakes and are made of whole grain oatmeal and whole grain wheat.

(and cheap!)

That's Jacks favorite too! She has a cup or two every night before bed.

I actually bought a tea for her that was about 6 times as expensive as the Sleepytime. The more expensive tea was supposed to be "better" as far as taste but it was so overpowered with orange blossom that you could barely taste the chamomille.

I LOVE that Sleepytime uses Spearmint! Gives it a nice kick :)

Hey Met!
What is your favorite soy milk? I am trying to be more healthy and was going to try to start using soy milk in my smoothies. Is there one that tastes better than the other?

I'd like to plug home made almond milk if you have never tried it.
Luscious and surprisingly easy.
(IMHO etc. etc.)

This product is a candle you can only get it at Dollar General Stores in the fall. Someone bought me a Maple Sugar candle and a Pumpkin Spice candle from there last year. I loved the Maple Sugar. You wouldn't believe the scent it leaves in your whole house. Mom, came over and said mmmm what are you cooking that smells so good. It's making my mouth water LOL. I went back to all of the stores around here and bought what they had left. I ended up with about 8 jar candles. You can bet if they have it again this year, I'll buy every one I see. Yep I'm a candle whore.

I'd have to say hands down Silk... most others 8th Continent etc. while sometimes less expensive seemed in comparison to taste noticeably watered down.

But Targets off brand, (Archer Farms?) is actually pretty damn good and I think it may costs a little less too.

Linus 02-12-2010 03:51 PM

Nyquil. Seriously. This stuff was awesome! It killed my cold-flu-what-ever-is-going-around in two days flat (thankfully it was a snow week and an "off-platform,no-teaching" week).

Andrew, Jr. 02-12-2010 05:49 PM

Linus,

Keep drinking the Nyquil. It isn't over yet. Trust me. I still have kleenex stuffed up my nose. :help:

Blaze 02-13-2010 02:46 PM

I don't wanna be sick so I am going to change the subject...
I am determined to get this product. On the web site it's expensive, but on Craigslist, well it's worth waiting for.

http://www.flatstalker.com/ <~ this is awesome, and I want to get me one really bad. Now if I can convince Doll that I will come home with lots and lots of fish or at least a sun tan.

Jet 02-22-2010 04:53 PM
