I am hopelessly romantic.
I love meeting people and learning their stories and when their path crosses mine..our relationships (family, work, school, love, friendship) are the only lasting impression we leave on the world. I am a work in progress...always growing and changing and fascinated as I learn more and more about myself. I LOVE the water but I almost drown as a child so NEVER swim without a life jacket and a noodle! I am an eternal optimist always looking for the good in people and situations. |

I'm like you, Pixie, about the floor and furniture. Well, I've adapted now but I spent so much time as a child, sitting with my legs crossed watching TV and playing games at the coffee table, that it felt weird to sit upright and in a chair for a long time. Even now, I have to remind myself to sit up right and not slouch and curve my back like I did then.

I can read things that are upside down across a desk. I have a knack for finding four leaf clovers. I have a quilt my mama made for me, that I have dragged all over hell and creation for 30 years.I love to climb trees. I can imitate a crow so well,it will caw back at me.

I will never move out of Dallas/Fort Worth cause I feel so close to my mom here. Even though I have no family. I still feel like I belong here.
I had a crush on Barbara Mandrell, Crystal Gale, Daisy Duke and Linda Carter growing up. I hardly drink alcohol. I may get "drunk" once a year. I cant stand bars. The smoke makes me sick. I like long baths As a teenager I would ride horses for miles and miles on Sunday afternoons once a month. I love the peace and the serenity that came with it |

2. I have been homeless several times and even though I think I am beyond it happening again I still keep track of where to sleep safely and take a shower. 3. I often become obsessed by topics and have to learn as much as I can about them, lately it is nanotechnology. 4. I am a very happy person and generally positive pretty much all the time, it can be irritating to those around me. 5. I am very rational and get confused and irritated by people who refuse to see the objective reality of the world. |

You probably don't know a bigger procrastinator than me.
I try to curb my impatience and short-temperedness, and I don't like it in others. I have come to the realization that my life is too short for these gut-tightening emotions. Ditto for yelling, berating, or name-calling. We're adults. Let's treat each other accordingly and set an example for our children. Even the furry ones. :) I'm excited because I just bought a new budget software program that I believe will help me get ahead of some debt and start to save for things we want and need. I like whole wheat mazah with butter, and I could eat it all year round. In fact, I do. |
1) Growing up, basketball was my passion. It kept me out of most trouble, although, shockingly, I still managed to find some trouble. Or did it find me? Hmmm.
2) I find that I don't wear baseball hats as much now that my hair is short. I typically only wear them if I'm working outside or just making a quick run somewhere. 3) I find it funny that I associate the smell of cow manure with "home." 4) Driving soothes me. 5) Music and water has the same effect. |

I never liked steak until I met my partner. I thought it was supposed to be cooked like my mom cooked it...like shoe leather.
Being on Facebook brings up all kinds of memories and feelings. It's weird to "bump into" my old schoolyard bullies on pages of friends. I don't like it. I was going to get lobster the other night, but it was just too much $$. I settled for the best shrimp scampi that I ever had. O.M.G. Right now, I am a little preoccupied with my kids. Hoping the older one gets into grad school, and that the younger one finds a date or a buddy for the junior prom. Positive vibes appreciated. Tonight, I'm going to have more coconut bunny cake for dessert. |

I used to have a fairly decent singing voice until puberty kicked in. The boys had their voice cracks and I had everything...pitch, timbre, etc...jump up a notch or two. I may or may not have sounded like Minnie Mouse on helium. I am looking for an old picture of me smoking my gramp's pipe. I was about 4. I am very thin skinned (physically, not as much emotionally). I get cold and hot very easily. Even though I love candy, I do not like candy corn, but I will hurt someone for circus peanuts. :smileywhip::chainsaw: |
