Today happiness is drinking my tea and eating my breakfast with my big ole dog asleep on my foot. I can hear the others in my house asleep, snoring as a matter of fact. I am comfortable, clean, safe and grateful for all that has transpired in my life to get me here.

Happiness is...finding out today that my son will be visiting the east coast next month and.making plans to meet up. Haven't seen him in long time ...so ready to get "my fix" (Hug him tight).

Happiness is...receiving written permission and a strong confirmation to allow myself to be loved, cherished and highly respected without fear or hesitation. This also includes love from family members that don't always know how to show love.

Happiness will be when things get back peaceful again. I can see some improvement but still a ways to go. I have to move on ... it would be emotionally unhealthy to stay stuck in sadness. (Plus, I know Kelly would not want that.) One thing for sure, I will never forget her - such a precious spirit she was! Such a funny dog, she always had something going on. In fact, she was the whole entertainment committee. Heh Heh! Kevin and I love and miss you, sweet girl! :)

a flower, the unconditional love of an animal, bare hands plunging into cool, slightly damp potting soil, the sun shining on your face, in poems that express how you feel more eloquently than you ever could, Chai tea lattes, knowing that all troubles will fall away naturally, like the tide. Happiness is feeling so silly sharing this and doing it anyway! But most of all, happiness is found in contentment with things just as they are; good or bad. :moonstars: |
