Bob Dylan - Things Have Changed (Official HD Video.)
Was watching reruns of The Brotherhood series and this song came on. I hadn't heard it before then. Not sure if it's a gangster anthem, a love song, both or more, but I'm here for it. In addition to the lyrics, I like that the music is just an old-fashioned rock-n-roll beat with a nice bass line. The version I heard in the series was by Mark Knopfler and it was very nice. Dylan should let him release it as a single. |

Djavan - Equinas (So you say)
So you say It's a feeling I'll get over someday So you say So you say I should try Just to let the flame inside me die I should try So you say Against the wind With my face turned to the empty side Of loneliness Midnight black and blue So you say That the world will keep on turning So you say So you say Tell me why All the stars have lost their mystery now Tell me why Tell me how Where love has been The taste of wine Seems to linger on like distant perfume And all of the memories Carelessly left behind Ghosts and lies They haunt me wherever I go So you say That the pain of love will pass away So you say So you say Before goodbye I look for the fire behind your eyes But they're cold as ice I hear in your voice The echo of love that's gone by Now I cry I'll love you for all of my life So you say It's a feeling I'll get over someday So you say So you say |

Remembering her.....a friend.
Fatal Hesitation -- Chris De Burgh The cafe's are all deserted The streets are wet again There's nothing quite like An out of season holiday town in the rain When the tourists go And the cold winds blow And my girl is on a plane Home... I'm never gonna love another The way I have loved you It's taken me a little time to discover Now I know it's true But fatal hesitation Made me miss the show Ooooooh, Romeo is standing in the rain And I know that I have let her slip away Fatal hesitation, fatal hesitation I saw you again this morning Walking down the beach And though you are a thousand miles away You were only just out of reach When I got up close and I saw her face I knew it couldn't be so No, nooooooo Ooooooh, Romeo is standing in the rain And I know that I have let her slip away Fatal hesitation, fatal hesitation I'm gonna get on my boat and sail away Ooooooh, Romeo is standing in the rain And I know that I have let her slip away Fatal hesitation, fatal hesitation I'm gonna read a little Shakespeare And get her outta my head It doesn't matter anymore Gonna miss her just a little bit Just a little bit... :heartbeat: ~Theo~ :winky::listening::bouquet: |
Tom Scott - Shadows
Reminds me of NYC early in the morning when it’s quiet on the streets with just a few cabbies, some early morning truckers getting ready to start their day, and the night workers heading home. |

Roberto Fonseca Trio - In the French Alps (I think)
This looks like part of a festival to me. One of the things I love about Jazz festivals is that the city/state/province holding the festival will often allow musicians to play almost anywhere. Churches, cigar factories, basements, rooftops, mountains. I don’t understand French, but this looks like the French Alps to me and it’s absolutely gorgeous. I first saw this musician at a Jazz festival and fell in love with his music. I have a problem with heights, but I’d manage it for a concert in the French Alps (I think) with hang gliders in the background. |
