getting to spend the morning with my little one. she is going to zoo camp and so we went and got breakfast together and then chatted the whole drive to the zoo. it's those special one-on-one moments that mean the world to me. :)

Yesterday.
A continuing consonance.
Keeping a goal safe and sound. Love. Plans for the future. Deciding to revamp and promote My jewelry business bigger and better than before. (insert BionicMan music here) Knowing that some day will come. Words with meaning, always. Texting with My niece and her usage of -ish now at the end of just about every word - and the laughter that brings. One word that caught Me off guard though inevitable. The promise of more joy today. |
My niece who I raised as my own due to her drug addict mother. When she born under 2 pounds I could hold her in one hand..bought her cabbage patch doll clothes because all the baby clothes were much too big for her. She sent me a photo of a sonogram of my future great-niece. For such a lil one born in the world with slim chance of even survival, graduating top of her high school class, joining the Air Force and recieving all sorts of medals and commendations and now is going to be a mom herself. She amazes me every day.

Planning to make and finding all the goodies to make my Strawberry Dream Cream Pie and an Orange Creamsicle Pie.... I LOVE making pastries and pies!! Too bad I can't make a living off of it. .... *shhhhh don't tell the people I'm serving this to that it's sugar free and low fat cream cheese ... I'm hoping they can't tell the difference...*

I am building some new adirondack chairs for my patio today. I'm going to get the wood as soon as the lumber store opens in an hour. This time I'm going to make them rocking chairs !! I can't wait, I'm excited .haha Doesn't take much , huh? haha hey just 50 more min. now!!!!

My joy so far today came from a very unexpected, but sweet and thoughtful, rep note that has Me smiling bigger than I have in days ~ the person who wrote it knows who they are, and I just wanna thank you for starting My day off right :-)
