Just finished getting dressed for the day, packed up my messenger bag, finishing off my cup of joe, and in a few minutes will be headed off to start the day.

Heading out into the gross humidity that is Philadelphia today :) Stopping to check in on and visit with my mom then off to a comedy show with my best friend. Hoping the place is air conditioned. It's been a while since I've been out with grown ups :)

Listening (with gritted teeth) to a very unhappy, squeaky, pissed off chihuahua because he was locked in his crate for safety reasons during a storm. He's ANGRY and letting everyone know.

Watching TV...trying to ignore a 6 pound screeching, squeaky, barking, curly tailed mutt.

Listening to music, cleaning and thinking about what I will be doing for the game tonight. I absolutely love football and get soooo excited.

Throwing a few things together in order to go visit an amazing woman who makes me smile. Hard to believe we only met three months ago since it feels like we've known each other forever. Just a friend for now - we want to go very slow. After going through a few rough months it feels good to be happy and enjoy life. :)

Resisting opening up the Chocolate Brooklyn Babka I bought this morning at Trader Joe's. I really bought it to take into work tomorrow, but it's looking like someone needs to taste it to make sure it's fresh and edible.

I`m wondering whether to have an early night, I`ve already abandoned a film halfway through cus I`m restless and can`t seem to concentrate. I also seem to have a cleavage full of rice from a Chinese meal I ate earlier so a quick shower before bed too.....

Calculating how long it's going to take to transfer 11 terabytes of media files (Final Cut Pro—raw and final files) from external hard drives to the server.

Chilling out, listening to music, taking a bit of a break this morning. I've been working very long hours and I needed it. Also, my latest and greatest writing gig is about how to get dates using the Tinder app (never heard of it till now). That's about the last thing I would like to write about. :|

The big boys will cause this "crisis" so that folks like us will panic and sell, and they can buy low and pad their accounts even more.

You probably know this, but I learned it when the stock market tanked, and the employer I had bought mega stock for each of our 401k's. When I left the company I had a very hefty nest egg, due primarily to this kindness to his staff.

That's what I keep hearing, Ms. T, but it's so hard not to move everything into mutual bonds till things cool down. Okay, I'm not gonna look at my 401k today. I'm just gonna sit tight. For now.
