Up until the last two weeks I thought Lauren was the top girl but Haley has definitley picked things up!

James was off I had wondered if it was do to watching it on my little computer screen. I'm glad to find out that i didn't miss it! Still think he did better then jacob though.

Lauren to me hit it on the one song and not on the other as much.

I usually despise country music but for some reason I really like him. Definitley not in looks but I think in performance he reminds me a little of johnny cash.

I agree with Diva. Jacob is no Luther.

I find Haley very 'wooden'. She's got a good voice, but I can't stand to see her attempt to perform. It's awkward and you are right; her connection is just not there.

I know that they said that Lauren fudged up on "Unchained Melody" but I actually liked her not hitting that note hard and the little run after that. It was nice and a little different than the umpteen people who've done it before.

If anyone else had gone home, I would have stopped watching for the rest of the season. Besides, my SYTYCD is coming soon!!! :clap:

OMG THANK YOU!!!! James just screams and he is totally off key are people deaf? I like the two young ladies I think they can actually really sing. Scotty is good as well he just needs to work on the high notes a bit. Glad Jacob is gone he is no Luther like Diva said but him doing drag had crossed my mind quite a bit.

I HATE the screamer, I'm not a screamer singing fan he reminded me of WhiteSnake all that SCREAMING!!!!

I find all four to be talented in their own genre.

I am not a fan of hard rock or screaming but I feel James is a real performer and have enjoyed him when he has toned it down. I predict he will be THE idol.

I'm HAPPY both Lauren and Haley are in. I think the girls sing great. I love the growl from Haley mmmmmmmmm.I think the two girls sing great together (compared to Scotty and James last night).

Usually the top ten in competitions come out of it with a contract.

Just to touch on some people's comments on James and the crying. The man has a lot going against him. The Tourettes, the autisum. The man had a lot to win for. A girlfriend and a little baby boy. He lost his job prior to the auditions and like any man, wanting to support his family. I'm not saying the American people made a mistake. I'm just stating the facts as to the obstacles that he had and the possible reason for him crying.


Yes the exit song certainly was not the best by any stretch of the imagination. Again, he was just told he was headed home and the dream was gone. I certainly would not be able to stand there just being told bye bye and belt out a song on key and perfect pitch (ain't going to happen).

I didn't like his singing prior, after or between the crying, if he's marketable he'll get picked up. He's not my cuppa I was never ever ever into heavy metal. As for him being a dad and having touretts, I honestly never gave those things a thought since that is not what I was looking for as far as his singing.

I believe Lauren is 15yrs old and Haley is 20yrs old.
