Productivity!
Looking back on a weekend well-spent:
* I can see the office floor! Spent a few hours organizing yesterday and can actually walk around, sit at my desk, and have neat stacks of papers! * Good food all weekend home-made by Moi. * Got my seedlings potted today and am looking forward to some home-grown goodness. * Lots of QT with my honey, some good movies, and sleeping in late. * Looking back on 5 full months of The Planet. The support, generosity, and love overwhelms me on a daily basis. I am truly, truly grateful. |
Retail Therapy. Cleaning and more cleaning. Writing a letter. Making dinner for My Mom. Putting the furniture back out on the deck. This coming weekend I am going to take My tents to My Mom and put them up to air out and get ready for the season. A smile that stays.

Finding the perfect pink princess dress-up dress for a three year-old I know. Fantastically out of my element, and relieved to find a helpful sales girl at Brilliant Sky Toys who knew the world of three year-olds and their fashion sense.

A great workout, a sunny morning, being able to catch a breath and having my boss listen to me. All very good things.

What brought me joy today...
Another beautiful spring day filled with lots of sunshine! Coffee brewing when I walked into work this morning... and the man buying me my favorite creamer (creme brulee'). A little me time after work, to hit the gym & tan. Plans for game night/dinner with friends later tonight. |

OtherNeighbor used her own garden, and I used my client's garden at my client's skill level; and I still won thanks to my Magic Garden Juice). I had my first training session with my trainer and she likes me and I like her and we made each other laugh tons (Which is fine for her, but have you tried to weight train while laughing your hiney off? Not pretty!), and she loved her time with me so much, she was late for teaching her class. I feel loved in a "I like you, but I'm going to make you cry" kind of way. :blink: The funk from the past two days has lifted and in time for my day and a half off! Woot! I'm cleaing out my freezer tomorrow and seeing exactly what it is that I have. It will make for some interesting upcoming meals. Did I mention the sun is shining and it's beautiful here? |

My VERY beautiful great nephew!
I'm a Great Aunt for the first time. He looks JUST like his mother... Amazing. Just five days old. And holding him beside my parents - after they had held him, (who are now "great grandparents" for the first time)! __ I was especially touched emotionally seeing my 80 yr. old father hold this child, and the joy and tenderness I saw in his eyes. :heartbeat: |

My boy Bob. Goofy little turd. He was playing biggo outside dog yesterday. Rolling in the grass, loving the sunshine. It has been too cold for him to be out there for more than a quick pp. He missed it.

What brought me joy today...
The rainstorm late last night, making everything fresh & green today. The sunshine is back shining bright today. My flowers are in full bloom, lining my porch and fence with the beautiful colors of spring. The weekly lunch date with my momma today. Knowing 2 weeks from today ~ vacation here I come! |

I found the western boots I want! Yipppeeeee.. And after I tried them on in a store, I looked up sales online.... AND found one! So, I ordered them! Saved about $23. Have to wait 10 days, but that is OK, the shipping was free, too! I love finding bargains!!! But, 'cept, there is a CW/Swing dance this Saturday.... won't be delivered in time... Phooey! Just a small phooey, though!

Hope Compassion Support Laughter Affection Friendship New Family Connections Being made to feel important and cared for... Someone going out of their way to take care of me while I was grieving... Finding that chivalry, integrity, and respect are not extinct qualities... Putting a painful, negative past behind me and being open and happy about a positive future with several new, very special people in my life. (even if they are scattered from the east coast to the mid-west, the affection I have for them in my heart brings them close.) Reconnecting with my long lost brother and his beautiful family....getting a sweet email from my adorable little niece who "can't wait to see me again"... Truly listening to a dear friend this evening and over the weekend, and suddenly realizing how important it is to me to LISTEN to their advice (I'm so independent, that it used to be hard to take advice)...being comfortable and safe letting walls down.
