Ok .. is it me? I just got a message from a woman on a singles site. She said she wanted to meet for coffee. When you read her profile she says she wants a relationship, .. her screen name is wantsjustsex... hmmmmmm she also says she is good at giving oral sex (why you find it nessassary to put that in your profile is beyond me)... however, she says she has NEVER been with a woman. Soooooooo .... uhhhh NO, ... not just no, but HELL NO! Went back into my profile on that site and made it clear in my first paragraph that that is NOT what i want. Jeeze ppl. I am finding it is VERY hard to find a lesbian in my own age group that wants more than just sex. Even the singles in my own group of friends. I am feeling very frustrated, antiquated, and generally want to give up.. having a cup of chi... sigh.. :tea:

Welcome to the thread, Fever! I have been single since February of last year, and I am kind of enjoying it. There are times when I do wish that I had a partner in my life and right now, I don't think that is what fate has in the cards for me. I am trying to get my life back together and getting back on my feet financially. Maybe in a few months, I might find someone, but I am not sure. CF, Matt would freak out if he knew I was giving Athena little nibbles of milk when he isn't home. :blink: She is such a sweet cat and still likes to run into my old bedtroom here in the apartment and go to sleep. MS, have a safe trip down to Sterling, VA. Have a wonderful day to all of you! I have to go to Macy's and pick up my new work pants that had to be hemmed and then I am off to the Apple store and the AT&T store. One of them needs to figure out what is wrong with my iPhone. It is so hard when most of your friends keep telling you just go out and have sex. It's just not me. There is one friend in particular that has been insistant. She is not single and wishes she was. I think I need to pull back from her for a while. A real friend doesn't make you feel bad for who you are. Ok ... Off to brunch with a bunch o lessy's.. lol Found out on FB that my ex won't be there.. so THAT is a plus. So I am still sick been sick since last Wednesday, damn Sinus Infection has me sneezing and wishing I could just replace my sinuses! Well on a high note, I did go run the 5K race I signed up for a month or so ago. I won 3rd Place in my age bracket! Go figure! It was a hellish run for me. Imagine how fast I would have gone had I been well.

Good Afternoon everyone. Back to work tonight. I'm ending my weekend sitting on the back deck and watching a baby bird practice his flying on the field behind my home. He is getting about 2 feet up off the ground before he disappears again into the tall grass. so cute.

Yesterday a neighbor who is moving sold me a fig tree for 5 dollars and threw in a citrus tree. I asked him what kind of citrus tree was it.. He said "Ina abouta fivea years, you willa know!" hehehe nice older gentlemen... lol. Will plant them later this week! The fig tree should fruit next year. He wasn't sure what color the figs were ..
