How Soon Is Now
 

I'm on a Smith's kick this evening...they were the soundtrack of my teenage years.

I have had a crush on Lucas as long as I can remember. But tonight I'm listening to his voice and his words with a very different string of emotions.

-- my son has this still on his mp3 ... from the time the child was 3.. thats all he has ever wanted to do.. fight fires.. he is at 15 in an a program with the Nashville Fire Dept.....lol.... and to this day he will tell me.. "mama, dont tell not one its my favorite song.." And of course I will not--- cause you see ,this is not a cool main stream song in man cub court. I so love my child
He will do so many amazing things.. I know... cause he has my heart.

My son... you are so big now.. take the ball and run with it baby... love MOM
