Honestly.....pretty much everything. I am a lucky lucky woman. In so many ways. I'm just glad I get to realize that and enjoy the miracle of it.

I am thankful that even though they don't know what is causing my stomach problems, that it isn't stomach cancer. With all the cancer in my family, that was my biggest fear. I am thankful for my mother, she has been incredible throughout all of this!

Tonight i am thankful for many things..but, a couple come to mind right now... - i am thankful for the opportunity to be in nursing school. It is so humbling to step into the role of a nurse. i feel honoured, actually, to do labs and clinicals which give me the hands on experience with patients and situations we will be dealing with. While many people question my ability to handle the 'messy' moments and 'why' i would want to, i smile and say it is such a privilege to be able to provide that level of care to a patient, for them and their loved ones. i am sincerely loving school - and am often the first to snap on the gloves and give things a try. - my Daddy, His support & love. When i have moments of 'what have i done' He reminds me i've got this and dusts me off and tosses me back in.. He surrounds me with love and stays present, consistently.. He includes me, always and keeps me up to speed with Our tribe, & of course, Our plans. i'll be moving there soon, We'll be getting married soon, and i'm such a genuinely happy girl, and so appreciative of the being He is, & how He walks.. |
I'm thankful for many things. life, my friends, my family, for every experience in my life, for love, for knowledge, for new and old memories, for bonds that can never be broken, and so much more.

Since thanksgiving is about a month away I have been thinking of what I'm really thankful for. This year I think I'm more thankful then I have ever been.
Here is a short list of what I have come up with: 1. A loving partner who accepts me and my many faults 2. To be healing after a 2 week stay in the hospital and finding out just how close I was to NOT being here 3. Having a job. Well not just a job but one that once was told I was in the hospital put me on leave and was willing to have me do lite duty till able to do my job again 4. After 7+ years talking to my mother again and telling her that I only wanted her to see me as her child and to please stop calling me by my old name. She has done it since 5. Finding out just how many friends I have and whom I cherish |

I am thankful to have made it half way home.
I am thankful the rest of the way should be clear sailing. I am thankful I had enough money in my account to pay for the new tire. I am thankful that I wasn't one of the over 50 vehicles I saw in the ditch. I am thankful to have so many great friends checking up on me. I am thankful to be sitting in Starbucks for a much needed stress break. I am thankful that the worst of the day is over. |
