Travel Channel for right now, it's paranormal night!

Martina 02-20-2019 10:33 PM

Nature, I think. Something involving volcanoes. I think I'll avoid hiking near the top of active volcanoes. Maybe take a cruise instead.

MAY CONTAIN SPOILER......

..
Tonight I'm re-watching the last episode of Big Little Lies from Season 1.

As I recall the crucial part was hard to make out because it was dark, bright colored lights were flashing on and off, and it kept going to flashbacks!

Sidebar: If you've not read the book, you're more than likely scratching your head and wondering WTF why would that character attack him!

Monday night......

California population = 39.5 million
All of Canada population = 37 million

Oh dear! Even if everyone in Canada watches the Raptors/Warriors game tonight :basketball: (and we will ), we're still outnumbered by one big State.
OK, let's hope that someone hands little David a slingshot.

House of Reps. Committee Hearing on the Mueller Report:

Watching and listening very closely to everyone's questions and responses-

I would like for any further hearings begin with a blanket question/poll: "Did you read the Mueller Report?"

JDeere 06-11-2019 09:14 PM

I was watching the Houston Astros game

Now it is time for ID Channel, maybe some Netflix.

Kätzchen 06-16-2019 10:17 AM

Just the other day I was thinking of buying a TV, but I still don't have one. Instead, I just find full length movies or TV shows to watch over on YouTube.

I happened to find a bunch of Rockford Files (season 3) TV shows to watch, so that's what I've been binging on lately.

homoe 06-16-2019 10:39 AM

If I can stomach it, I'll watch to see what hard hitting questions George asks our Liar In Chief tonight on the special edition of 20/20

homoe 06-16-2019 07:24 PM

I'll be watching Big Little Lies as well, but I must say all the flashbacks are starting to grate on my last nerve!

Okay, I caved and began watching Vida, lol

I have Shaw Blue Curve, so I just say Vida, and voila!

Just one thing - I'm on season 1, and I have watched a few episodes, and the only characters I have been able to relate to appear to be some of the older women (bit actors) who are seen to be able to demonstrate some affect. Apart from that and the scenes of overt f**king, with really no affection whatsoever that I could see, are there any scenes in the future episodes (seasons) where the main leads (who appear - at least, to me - actually cold-blooded and distant) actually develop some capacity for making love instead of f**king?

Enjoying "Scream Queens" on Netflix.
Can never get enough of wicked sorority girls.

So, I watched the latest episode in season 3 of VIDA on TV last night, after having watched the latest episode of Killing Eve (well, at least, Killing Eve was very well done, as usual).

More gratuitous f**king on VIDA - the younger straight sister referred to the older gay sister's ex as a "f**k boi". So, no relationship ability as yet with any of the leads. Ya know, relationship means to be related - to feel someone in one's blood. And this series highlights the fact that whoever wrote the script has no idea what relationship means. As a butch, I have no idea what the girl/boi connection implies, but I think that the sisters will all end up in much-needed therapy, hopefully before they hurt any more people.

I do not believe that all Latino Americans are being accurately portrayed. Not every Latino American (gay/straight) is going to use other people just for sex (older gay sister), or using sex to have the illusion of a relationship (younger straight sister) - which seems to me a rather disparaging take on young lesbian and straight women in - of all things - this day and age.

One more thing, if all the sex scenes were cut out, the series would be dead. Right? So, that fact alone does say something to me about what kind of people enjoy watching soft lesbian/straight porn (considering the reviews on imdb).

All the CSI I can find. All the live police shows especially chases. Boarder Security so I can see the excuses these foolish people make for smuggling and to watch the dogs sniff out unsuspecting smugglers.
