Ya, I'm here just sitting around and collecting dust!

Lyte 08-26-2016 08:27 PM

Just found a cozy spot out on porch... chillin.

Mel C. 08-26-2016 10:42 PM

I'm dusty too

dykeumentary 08-26-2016 10:49 PM

I just did a group singalong to Bruce Springsteen at the tavern down the street. Am I old??

FireSignFemme 08-27-2016 02:14 AM

Don't move, don't move... listening, listening... Yep I hear some creaking going on. But it might help you feel better to know - I had to put hearing aides in to amplify sound in order to notice it :)

Gayandgray 09-03-2016 08:13 AM

Good morning all!!

Glenn 10-09-2016 07:23 AM

Good Mornin back to you sis and all from Indy.

I just bought a high tech hearing aid from Germany that immediately shoots me back to a high alert, evolutionary platform of prehistoric existence. It makes the birds sound like pterodactyls, my cats roar like lions and tigers, my car sound like I'm in the Indy 500, and all my body sounds make me feel like I'm a caveman. :|

Watching a History Channel special on Columbus. Didn't recall he was such a douch bag after his discovery.

good day, one could also argue that a land with people was not discovered it was already inhabited.
enjoy your day

Lyte 10-10-2016 02:19 PM

One could. However, it was still a "discovery" for the Europeans.

Thanks! I will check out those links.

The History Channel show has quite good, detailed, didn't candy-coat any of his behavior. I knew CC was a religious fanatic but didn't know he was a tyranny as well. It's been a few years since I heard anything about the subject. It's truly fascinating how history evolves.

"Baby, tie your hair back in a long, white bow...
meet me out in the field behind the dynamo..."

Brings me right back to my senior year art class, with the radio playing on the window sill...yes, I guess we are old. : )
