Get the first row parking spot?

Make the trash can on the first shot?

Win on the scratch off tickets?

Love me without fear
Trust me without questioning
Need me without demanding
Want me without restrictions
Accept me without change

It DID NOT happen a third day because today went all odd and I never got there. :dozey: I am glad the day is over and we are home safe and sound. Makes me wonder what tomorrow will bring.

As a side note, seeing a woman pluck her chin hairs and eyebrows in a public waiting room was .......ummmm...... unpleasant.

Every once in a while you need to

get up
brush your teeth
not brush your hair
not shower
not get dressed
put choc in your coffee
dunk your french bread in your choc coffee
lay on the floor and read the sunday paper from cover to cover... even the sports
nap in a sunbeam
finger paint
play catscraddle
read an entire book in one setting
run as fast as you can, for as long as you can
do a cartwheel or a tumble
draw something in the fog on a glass or a window..
write a poem about the life of a leaf...
lay in the grass and watch bugs live
watch fireflys light up the night sky...
clean your house at 2 am...

Step outside the box... Once in a while you need to step outside the box and do what makes you feel alive... not what you are supposed to do... but what brings you joy....

I am OH! so excited to have my own computer back.....new screen in place!

<holding up hand to swear on a stack of Shel Silverstein books>
I, Diva, promise to never, ever, ever close up my earrings in my computer ever again! Amen.

A random conversation

My doctor: so what mixture are you?
Me: blank look
My doctor: like, what is are your origins? You're mixed, right?
Me: white/European
My doctor (incredulous): but aren't you part Asian? Like Japanese?
Me: nope.
My doctor: but surely you've heard that before haven't you?
Me: all my life.
My doctor: I just thought maybe the reason you are volunteering with teaching english to international kids is because you were part Asian.
Me: no. As a gay person I know what it's like to face a certain amount of discrimination, and I could focus on that, but these kids face harsher discrimination and I want to make sure they have the means to speak and speak up for themselves.
My doctor: are you Buddhist?
Me: no
My doctor: that sounds Buddhist

Life gets hectic and one forgets to
see or breathe.
Then a whisper enlightens and life is never

Home from the pain mgmt doctor; all is well with that world and do not have to go back for three months. Had an incredible talk with oldest daughter about her depressed son; my grandson. And the parents are doing a great job handling this situation though it is heartbreaking. Now the family gathers around this amazing young man!

You aren't done raking until you've played in the leaves.

Take a deep breath in, close your eyes, and exhale. Purge the negativity from your mind, the fear from your heart, and allow the unknown to excite your soul. Wander, be curious, be adventurous.....just open your eyes and keep going.
