Thanks ocean, I am eating lots of soup and drinking hot tea constantly. Also, taking meds and naps. The kitties are very attentive.

STRESSED!!!! My 12yr old Boston Terrier girl, Bailey, is sick. She’s at the vet getting iv fluids. Vomiting, diarrhea. I panic when one of our dogs gets sick!!!

Most of the time I don't mind living alone and even enjoy the space that is mine.

But,

when I am sick, even too sick to heat up a cup of soup: that is when living alone worries me. My long term ex was terrific at taking care of me when I was sick.

I miss that so much.

having a stupid minor meltdown. Working on overcoming it - or at least, stopping myself from talking myself into doing the more stupid of two options. Just gotta find that 'can do!' attitude again from somewhere..

Had a quick chat with my friend that suggested I try the degree (a retired headmistress.). Felling a bit better about things now.

Pretty rested..now I'm bored.

Did a solid job, I think, on the initial stage of one of my assignments, that's due in soon. That felt good. Going to tackle another one that isn't due for a while yet, then see how I feel about the one I've been stalled on.

I feel better, yay! A little coughing still and my ribs still hurt but I am on the well side of the cold. I am going to work tomorrow!
