I go to work and miss all the good stuff.
Is it under control?
Will I have to go buy new beanbags?
Looks like the popcorn has been swept up or eaten by JAGG because of the 5 sec rule.

After all this, I'm wondering now if I'll ever want to settle down
I think I need more crushes and then I may be able to decide.

Happy Tuesday Crushers and Crushees :)

Yes, it's all under control.

24 hours ago, having fallen in love hard and fast, I was making arrangements to marry Mopsie. However, 24 hours later and it has all unravelled - unfortunately, Mopsie picked up on a mention I'd made in a post about previous women I'd courted on the thread for marriage.

Next thing I know, it's a free-for-all with nosey parkers getting involved and refusing to mind their own business. Netflix must have been down yesterday across much of the USA or something along those lines.

Either way, after this latest marriage fiasco, I've been left feeling a bit like a cross between Britney Spears and Liza Minnelli. I've had better 24 hour periods.

It's now time for me to check into the convent. Wonder if they brew their own beer there?

Arwen 05-07-2013 03:17 PM

Bless your hearts. You have been quite entertaining. :| Crushes? Yes, I have a few, but my heart is quite settled on my joy bringer. :D Carry on!

Mopsie 05-07-2013 03:32 PM

*Mopsie, who has recovered from her recent mental breakdown, decides that what's done is done and it's time to move on*

Well y'all the caterers told me I couldn't get my deposit back so I say we have a little feast here in the thread.

*Mopsie arranges the lasagna, garlic bread, and salad on the table*

Dig in y'all! When we're done with the meal there's plenty of chocolate cake to be had!

I don't know about there in England but here in Virginia we have a convent where they make their own cheese - It's quite tasty!

And if that doesn't interest you, I can point you to a former convent in Philadelphia where I used to live - it is right next to a bar (pub). It's very convenient!

Wolfy, I have to tell you it takes great fortitude to be in love ... be careful out there!

Katniss~~(ok, slight de-rail but is 'Mopsie' from Peter Rabbit stories or do you just like really clean floors?)

(also, yes I am instigating. I hate when the show ends before my Milkduds run out....)

i'll buy more milkduds, ... you tell the story of your "Katniss"? pretty please.

Thank you, but my heart is truly guarded.
It has taken me 3 years to open myself back up to possibilities.
I have high hopes with little expectations.
If a woman can captivate me with her mind, she's got a foot in the door.
I have never looked from the outside in, but rather from the inside out at a woman.
I have had one great love in my life and have loved some after her and before her.

Century Link is down in 21 states right now. No internet for those folks.Either way, after this latest marriage fiasco, I've been left feeling a bit like a cross between Britney Spears and Liza Minnelli. I've had better 24 hour periods.

Well as a matter of fact, I have the perfect convent for you. It's in Maine and the sisters are famous for their chocolate confections. They can be found cavorting all over the sea shore, skipping over granite boulders, giggling and laughing, their cheeks flush with excitement and chocolate!!!

Who loves ya Babe???

Just a short skip across the pond and it's NIRVANA BABY!!!!

:chocolate: :gimmehug: :cheer: :girleating:

Since my thread is...do you have a crush on anyone at The Planet, could you give all of us a different clue because that one is too obvious.

Always... but sometimes I just want to... oh what's the word?...keep it to myself *S

Then common sense kicks in and... it's all over...

~baby~doll~ 05-07-2013 08:25 PM

i think i have crushes on more than one person here. Hmmm it is funny how i develop crushes so easily. i think it is a good thing. hugs

Katniss 05-07-2013 09:28 PM

The wedding is off? After all that work? Well, guess I better call Kermit and tell him he is free this weekend and no need to fly in and sing a rendition of "It ain't easy being Green." As well my gift to the two of you was kind of lame. It isn't a Yankees card and is a bit marked along the edges. I wanted a full color one but the guy said they only came in this two tone style. I wonder if he was holding out on me but I was pressed for time so the best I could come up with.

Ciaran--we are only nosey parkers because we care. (<--how my mother justifies meddling). Additionally I have my eye on the title of "Jaded Confirmed Spinster" and you are in my way. I thought if I got you married off the crown would be mine.

Mopsie--Offering up what would have been your reception feast to the thread is a class act and well done. A true Southern belle. (helping self to corner piece of lasagna that has the most crunchy edges)

Wolfy--Sorry we made a mess of your thread. (grabs broom and starts sweeping) Thank you for being so patient with us.

macele--Katniss is a nickname given to me from "The Hunger Games" by my friends. I volunteer as an archery instructor for the Girl Scouts and lately have been taking a Kyudo class (Japanese longbow) so it fits. Except I am very bad but have no shame and continue to try anyway.

Katniss~~(Whew! Even watching other people crush is exhausting. I am off to crush my pillow and a blanket. Nighty night ya'll.)

Me too! I feel like I have no personality at all when I'm around that person. I always wish I could say, "Wait let me show you who I really AM ..." and then put in a DVD of my best moments. *sigh*

And of course, it's always in a crush's presence that we drop things, spill something on our clothes, trip over a flat floor, or babble :canadian:. The clumsier I am, the more I'm in like!

GraffitiBoi 05-08-2013 05:40 AM

I guess in a way I do... in a totally "I want sex and not a relationship with you" way... heh
