my kid happy at the new day care, that work was smooth and Corona. TGIF y'all.

A wonderfully productive work day. A wonderfully fun and beautifully warm afternoon. A delightfully AWESOME BBQ dinner. And NOT getting lost in South Carolina when I was following a friend that decided to take a new route home through MILES AND MILES of nothing but sand and pine trees!! Nope!! We didn't get lost but it sure felt like I was on a wild ride through the BIGGEST Maze on earth! ....

I got a successful run on some software I've been working very hard on for quit awhile - working lunch and some nights. Just before 5:00 p.m., it ran error-free, interrogated the database and returned correct data to my application software. I was tasked with an install on a data provider for a tool which was not favorably postured. The .NET Framework was not paired up with the correct version of my software ... which made me do a lot of face-palms ... rapidly moved to head banging, over use of those special type words.

Next week I will implement the same on my supervisor's machine. He gets faint-hearted when it involves installs or upgrades so he gives it to "Mikey" ... LOL!

So happy tonight. :)

Had an AWESOME FUN PRODUCTIVE DAY....even had beautiful warm weather, enjoyed good company and lots of laughs picking on Blade's dad...and best part of all, I got a Maytag washer, Kenmore dryer and a nice solid wood utility shelf unit at Habitat For Humanity Restore all for about $240!! My bonus money well spent! The washer is AWESOME! ! It may be used, but it all came with a warranty! It was a long day.... having to drive so far... but I am delightfully worn plum out!!

An early swim, then Jacuzzi and off to visit friends. They made a French Toast, IMO breakfast and gave me Birthday presents. a Dremel, and a years subscription to Netflix , and the LA Times, plus the rest of the cupcakes from the 4th...:hangloose:

We found out yesterday that tantalizingfemme's son got into the college of his choice! We were quite concerned that he wouldn't, so we are especially thrilled for him!

My next door neighbors son owns a tree service company. So I told him I needed to buy some firewood. He brought a truck load over and wouldn't take a dime for it. I love my neighbors!
