Jo - will keep fingers and toes crossed for you that you sell your place and can get your booty down here stat! I have a lot to do in the new two days. Our daughter is "graduating" from preschool on Friday and they are having a little ceremony in the morning, so I need to figure out how I am going to get godparents/kid/spouse/self's hair before then. *sigh* Seems like only yesterday I was wiping spit-up off my shirt :crybaby: |

Good to see that Musicman graced us with his presence :) And here's hoping life calms down a bit for you so that you'll be back in he driver's seat for breakfast in here. i've had a full day, so it's time to wind down.....i'm off to put a new entry in my food blog tonight....of course it's about the rhubarb. Good luck to Mrs Strutt on all the preparations for end of preschool celebrating. Yes, the years do seem to pass quickly. Hearing you speak of preschool grad has me going down memory lane myself. Hello kitchen dwellers :)
I've had a heck of a day. It's looking more and more impossible to sell this house. At this point we've pretty much decided to rent it out...and I just want to get moved. Sitting here with a coffee...with a nice shot of Bailey's...an occasional indulgence. The soup is smelling wonderful. I took yesterday's roast chicken and turned it into stock last night, then into the fridge overnight so I could skim the fat and cool the meat. Tonight it's almost all the way to cream of chicken soup with rice...my son's favorite. Music...good to see you. I hope things calm down soon for you. We've been managing breakfast (and I especially like the froot loops morningstar...seriously...they're addictive!), but it's just not the same without you. Mrs. Strutt...such a sweet event! Seems like not so long ago I was doing the same with my son...and now he stands as tall as the tip of my nose. :giggle: Time flies... I was out checking the rhubarb this morning...still not quite big enough but getting close to pie size! :) So, let's see...dinner tonight....there will be homemade cream of chicken soup with rice, a green salad, biscuits....is that enough? :chef: If folks are really hungry, I could raid the fridge and see what else is there! |

Braedon...hey buddy how bout we:drunk:tonight...for medicinal purposes of course..flush out the system...hang out on the back porch,watch the fire burn in the pit and just chill i have to say i am a bit upset..im not sure how many of u know bout my crab we found..but anyway i went out finally bought it a 10 gal tank,2 friends crab food...fixed up a nice home for them and now the lil bastard wont have anything to do with me..talk about ungrateful...everyday after work i would come home,put him in my hands,blow onhim and then he would explore my arm,chest belly..now wont even peek out of shell....maybe i should have this in the whine thread....honey??? I am also off to bed. I had to put the baby to sleep at 4am this morning, and for some reason, he isn't sleeping through the night. I am going to the local college in the morning to check into their nursing program and what it is going to take for me to do it. Have a good night and sweet dreams!
