The Zolla Boys posted this video to their Facebook page (which was filmed in August, of this year) and 8 hours later, there was nearly 1.8 million views, over 21k likes, and tons of shares to other member pages.
I think these young boys are gifted with tremendous talent. I believe they live in Connecticut. Hope others enjoy their talented rendition of the classic bluegrass/folk song, "I Heard The Blue Bird Sing." Happy Sunday :stillheart: |
Something beautiful for the long holiday :) |

Billy Joel -- Just The Way You Are
A few days ago I heard this song on the radio and it brought back sweet memories from years ago, during a really long hot summer. I just think it's the sweetest song ever. :stillheart: |

Note for Greco
Thanks for identifying the composer in the Adagio in G Minor as Tomato Albioni! I just happened to find that lovely music post, by complete accident, on SoundCloud. It's a gorgeous track of stringed music, with subtle organ notes. :)

Second note for Greco.....
I did some research today, concerning the Adagio in G Minor because while listening to this arrangement, I kept wondering where I had heard it before.
It turns out the Remo Giazotto, an 20th century musicologist, studied the Italian master of baroque, Tomaso Albioni. There's a bit of scholarly debate too, because this arrangement, although its true author is Giazotto, is most often misattributed to Albioni. Giazotto also studied and wrote an biography on Vivaldi (The Four Seasons ). Check out the link below, because wayyyy down the list is a citation of works where this baroque arrangement of Adagio in G Minor has been used in film, tv, and covered by other artists. In particular, Adagio in G Minor appeared in funeral scenes of HBO's, The Sopranos. That's exactly where I heard it before, on ....The Sopranos.
