lunch for my mom at a local Hungarian restaurant--didn't realize that it was the first time she had been back there since my dad died ten years ago...but she was fine...as was I.

Well I suppose I bought it yesterday but I've paid for it today and I won't receive it until Saturday.

I'm so stoked that I won the bidding on a mid-80s, Roger Haydock built touring bike. It's got old school geometry which means there's no modern sloping top tube/compact frame action going on. The gear changers are on the frame and not the handlebars too. I'm so looking forward to taking delivery of my 'new' bike and loving it as it has been loved since it was made for the lady I'm buying it off.

A cool tea candle holder for the non-functioning old radiator in the bathroom. That was marked $18 but rang up for $4.48!

So then I bought 3, instead of 1, boxes of 30 count scented tea candles.

All with my Pier 1 gift certificate and was only out of pocket $1.31. YAY

BTW my new place has a really deep tub, so maybe most of my belly can be covered in a nice warm bath. I'm hopeful. LOL

Nina 05-20-2011 02:11 PM

well...

if you make a cuppa, or a pot of, coffee and enjoy it with some of your lovely sounding hand made bread and a nice slice of the cheese....you can then finish it off with a sip or two of coffee and some chocolate...

and then enjoy the yogurt with some fresh fruit later..

(the question may well have been rhetorical, eh??) ;>
