"This team comes in with a lot of lingering angry and resentment. They feel like they won a game without getting credit for it."

Go Baltimore Ravens. Underdog of the underdogs, go. You are already winners.

GAME TIME :D

Queerasfck 01-22-2012 02:01 PM

I think the Patriots and the Giants win today.

There is only one good thing about my beloved Steelers not being in it, I can watch the game without any football high anxiety. So, I can just relax and enjoy without the nausea.

Until next year!

Enjoy the games everyone.

Soooo true John. But since the 49ers are my family's team, I really would like to see them win, and I think they do have a chance. So, just a little anxiety remains for me on behalf of the fam.

Ok so I do like to watch football but my boys do. So i am going to be in kitchen all day making football food for them to snack on all day. It is the least I can do and then my daughter and I are going in my room for movies and girlie time lmao :rrose:

I approve of this message ;)

However, I think it would make for one helluva mean day between me and my Raven's fan friend SNH. Danger Will Robinson. :|

I approve of your approval :) If I had a preference I might poke a sleeping tiger for a bit of rivalry as well (Raven, 49'er just didn't seem threatening enough to poke)...just sayin ;)

scootebaby 01-22-2012 03:16 PM

Can't believe the Super Bowl is next. Damn imma miss football season.

Hollylane 01-22-2012 05:11 PM

The Ravens & Patriots game was frigging awesome. I am sorry about the Ravens SNH. But WOW!

UofMfan 01-22-2012 05:13 PM

In as much as I despise the Patriots, and I do, I feel a little bit of joy watching the Ravens blow it and choke.

Now on to the game I really want to watch.

gaea 01-22-2012 05:15 PM

Rock On that game had me on the edge of my seat!

Patriots are going to the Superbowl!!!!

Inuus 01-22-2012 05:18 PM

WOW that was a great game...I am suppose to work tonight but I am so hyped I wont be getting any sleep. wahooooooo Pats to the Super Bowl...but honestly I feel for Billy Cunniff...damn

Hack 01-22-2012 05:23 PM

I feel sorry for the Ravens kicker. No one is going to want to sit next to that guy on the plane. :(

SoNotHer 01-22-2012 05:26 PM

The Ravens played against a team that's gone to the Superbowl five times since 2001. They played with grit and heart and lost by three points and a bad kick.

They are and always be winners.

Holy f***. I am a diehard Patriots fan and am happy they are moving on. But, I aged 5 years in the last 5 minutes of that game.

This was one of those games where I have mixed feelings. Patriots did not play well. Ravens played much better. And, in my opinion, the Patriots didnt win that game, the Ravens lost it.

They are going to have to do much better in 2 weeks.

Scuba 01-22-2012 05:35 PM

Okay...the Raven Pats game should have gone into overtime :|

**walks out mumbling** Laces out, laces out....

Unbelievable

kannon 01-22-2012 05:38 PM

I love kristin chenoweth.

SoNotHer 01-22-2012 05:39 PM

"Unbelievable" is about the only word for it. And well said, Kobi.

Yep. Pats didn't win. The Ravens lost.

I'm not sure I'd say the Ravens played much better than the Pats, because if they had they would be going to the super bowl. I think their offense played much better than I imagined they would. I think the Pats offense played worse than I anticipated. The Pats defense sucked. Baltimore's defense didn't do the job. But the game should have gone into overtime. I don't think anyone actually won this game. I think Baltimore's field goal kicker took the decision out of the hands of the two teams. The way it was going, if it had gone into overtime, considering the pats defense couldn't stop the Ravens offense, if Baltimore had won the toss they might be on their way to the super bowl. I too feel bad for their kicker.

Cin 01-22-2012 06:34 PM

Sometimes I wish it could be the best 3 out of 4 (but that would be too exhausting for everybody).

But I'm glad the Pats won.

I guess.

I mean I am but...

I guess I'm sorry the Ravens lost.

TheDreadPirateRoberts 01-22-2012 07:13 PM

wowwww....i didnt watch the game...but ...jeez..what is it thisyr with unexpected games? ......i had a feelin the pats would take it.....i also have a feelin that the giants will win...even tho i dont want them to....seems to be my luck this yr *still sad about the packers loss*

Cin 01-22-2012 07:48 PM

49ers took the lead. 14 - 7.

Zimmeh 01-22-2012 09:10 PM

Well you must be happy! Giants took it with a field goal.

Zimmeh 01-22-2012 09:43 PM

Way to go Giants! It's going to be an interesting Super Bowl!!!

Hollylane 01-22-2012 10:02 PM

Hmphfff...

Okay, all of my stress is over as far as who is going to win the Superbowl.
Now I can just go on logic and intuition when I decide who I think will win.

I did take one little teensy thing away from the 49ers loss today that warms the cockles of my teensy little heart. As I go about my day tomorrow I will continue to be ladylike and keep this little gem to myself and smile inwardly.

MissItalianDiva 01-22-2012 10:31 PM

That's right Giants spanked the sucky 49ers....looking forward to another Superbowl win for my Giants against those Pansy Pats!!!
